We decided to try this place a few nights ago. We walked in fairly early and there were two customers at the bar and one table occupied, so we decided to sit at the bar to have a drink and see what all the rave reviews were about. Â Well, I am so sorry to say this but with two bar tenders behind the bar, neither of them gave us the time of day, a glance or even a "hey be with you in a moment". NOTHING, NOT even eye contact. Â Okay,we waited a few more minutes, then three guys came in and they were greeted with a handshake and hey how's it goin'. Â Seriously, I like to support local businesses but this is not how to treat anyone. Â We got up and walked out and will not be back. Â I am glad the economy is treating them so well and they don't need any more locals to entertain.
Signed,
Severely Disappointed
I find myself in Worcester about once every decade, it seems. This time, I had the wonderful experience of having lunch at Vincent's. It was mid-afternoon. Only one other person was at the bar. I had the most delicious homemade meatball sandwich I have ever had in my life. With cheese. On giant soft italian bread. Gazing upon the taxidermy animals atop the bar. Portraits of dead Presidents staring back at me. Urging me to have another beer.. I must return to Vincent's one day.. perhaps in the next decade! ;)
