Prime 34

Prime 34 is the latest incarnation of this restaurant/bar.  Several prior owners have tried and failed. Safari vip, cue and brew, sports zone, etc. It probably has something to do with the fact that it's in a horrible location.  It's behind a small strip mall and anyone driving by would have no idea that it even existed.  

There are two levels.  The lower level has a sports bar with lots of tvs and the restaurant.  They turned the upstairs into a club / lounge.  It's very obvious that they are trying to clone park east in hazlet which is only two towns over. So far it seems like they are doing a half ass job of it.

The food is marginal and the drinks are expensive. I tried to stop in there to check out the upstairs lounge.  The parking lot, which is way inadequate, was being run by a valet service that was clueless.  Traffic was all backed up and I was told that I HAD to valet my car. I just left.

They will try to promote this place and create a buzz. It may be busy in the beginning because people want to check it out, but I give this place two years max til it ends up like the previous places that tried.
