Primetime Dance Club

The dance club mostly consist  of the local residents of  the Hudson Valley area with an occasional visit from travelers from the city and Albany. Not the greatest dance club compare to the clubs in California, South Beach Florida, and New York City, This club mostly attracts older men in their forties and up and moderately looking young guys of the lowest demographic and the common denominator who think they are it.  Then you have older gay men trying to come on to the younger gay men by lying about their age. I would go else where if it came to dancing and hanging out.  This place is more of an experience for younger gay men in their late teens and early twenties before they start venturng out of the Hudson Valley when they turn twenty one  to head for the clubs and bars in  New York City or Albany.

Primetime has been closed since approx. July 2012.  It is currently under new ownership/management and is expected to reopen by May 2013.

A decent space with a good sound system that is regrettably stricken by a steady stream of  bad, generic gay bar music. The crowd, which has been sparse in recent months, consists of a mix of boys and girls (18+ door policy) who hail from the tri-state area's lower demographic echelons.
