I came here for a company holiday party and it was exactly what I was expecting. good food, good wine and a huge dining area.
I had their baked seafood platter which was delicious, not overly breaded and just enough variety to be satisfying. Oh! I am also a fan of their mussels, if I wasn't drunk then I would be able to tell you more about them, but they were delicious and served with shaved parmesan cheese and I think a lemon sauce. Delicious!
I'd come again, yeah, thats right!
let's see...imagine a darkly lit room, with bar stools and tables/chairs lifted from a 1970's idea of a high end restaurant...mix that with the stale smell of old folks gambling their social security checks on the never ending stream of keno - and add in a little Denny's kind of feel and you pretty much have this place.
Review Source:Princeton Station is a a decent little tavern-type eatery located in North Chelmsford. Â I've been here several times, and each meal has been pretty good. I just finished up a meal of steak tips, garlic bread, and side salad. The tips were a little chewy, and there was a noticeable amount of fat, but they were still decent nonetheless. Â A few of my dining companions also got the chicken parm, which was reportedly pretty decent as well.
The service for our large party (23 of us!) was great, as the waitreses were prompt, helpful, and friendly, so if you've got a large party, consider Princeton Tavern. However, if you've got a normal sized party, it's a decent addition to the local dining fare in Chelmsford.
This restaurant is such a dissapointment, although the food is pretty good and the menu is extensive and not overpriced service always seems to be lacking. Â I suggested this restaurant to my sister a few weeks ago and she and her party were ignored while trying to put their name in for a seat. Â I recently went and ate my entire meal without a drink because our waitress was nowhere to be found. Â My boyfriend and I were actually speaking to the table across from ours complaining about how they had been waiting for there food before we were seated and then proceeded to watch us order and get served before they did. Â It's to bad because this restaurant has potential if they would stop slacking on service.
Review Source:I've been here a few times, and I would say that this place is most definitely average. The menu: chicken piccata, chicken parmesan, reuben sandwiches....very ordinary food choices that you can find at every 7 out of 10 restaurants in New England.
Portion sizes are reasonable, staff were nice enough. My food was sort of bland, and the soup tasted like it was from a can. The older crowds love this place, but me, not so much. I want something more daring and more creative.
is it a lounge? is it a dive bar? it's both...a fun, down to earth dive bar, with enough fun and atmosphere to make it enjoyable. Cover bands on the weekends, and hell...I once saw an Elvis impersonator having some chow there...then he got up and belted out a song. A funny, strange, but good, kind of place.
