In the middle of no-where (well, to myself anyways) pub with an awesomely friendly staff, pretty good food, and awesomely priced drinks!
Came here with a family friend over the weekend for some early morning breakfast. Chicken fried steak was ok and their gravy was a bit too peppery for my taste, but my oh my overall it tasted good and I scarfed that thing down like no ones business. And can we say delicious Spanish Coffee....for $5!!!!! If this place wasn't so far away it would be my new hangout. Sports were playing, the locals were chatting. It was great fun!
My friends and I went here for lunch last week; I hadn't been here in years. Â Why, oh why? Â It's wonderful! Â They've done some remodeling since I was there last, and it's very open and uncrowded.
There were eight of us who went there after our Wednesday gathering time. Â The servers were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and the food was wonderful and cooked to perfection. Â
Pub 212 has a number of specials each day and a friend told me there's a great special every Thursday night as well.
I had a hamburger (fries are a dollar extra), another friend had a Denver omelette, and another friend had the fish and chips. Â Someone else had soup, and one of my friends wanted the hamburger but no bun, and the cook was very accommodating. Â
Yes, there's a bar in the corner, but if you just want to go to eat as we did, it was pretty unobtrusive. Â We were there from about 1:30 to 4:00 in the afternoon and the place was not noisy. Â I don't know how it'd be at night.
Portions were more than adequate and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
I know that I'll be going to Pub 212 more often now that I've rediscovered it. Â Great food, reasonable prices, friendly servers and good atmosphere. Â I might even suggest that my husband take me out to dinner here!
