Gustav's Pub & Grill

My husband and I went for the happy hour and had fondue and hefeweizen.  It was really good.  Both of us got our one fondue with bread and I got the 10 hefeweizen that they have on tap that is very fruity (sorry I don't remember the exact name) and my husband got the stein of the same thing.  It was exactly what we wanted.  The fondue and the hefeweizen went really good together.  We should have stopped there but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we both got a salad.  He got the Cobb salad and I got the yellow and red beet salad.  They were both good although the beet salad needed more dressing in my opinion.  They now offer the growlers that you can take home with the beer of your choice.  The growler is 8 bucks about and the hefeweizen we wanted was 14 bucks for 64 oz.  We didn't get it this time but next time we are around we are gonna pick one up.

We were looking for a place just to get an appetizer and a drink. I saw the "Pub and Grill" sign across the freeway from our hotel and we decided to check it out. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this place. Great German food and a wide selection of beers on tap from imported to local. Try the German potato salad!! Love it!!

My family used to come here all the time. It is actually tradition to eat here after going to the airport to pick someone up.

I used to love this place, but it has had a menu makeover. The menu is different and the portions are much smaller than they used to be. I ordered the pork dish on happy hour and didn't like it. The spatzle was good though. My husband ordered Käsespätzle which is just spatzle with cheese and onions. His dinner was the same size as my SIDE of spatzle and costs $7 more....

The dessert is still good so it gets 3 stars, though I'd rather give it 2.
