Nice cozy spot. Upstairs is better if you have no minors.

This was the best and the worst place. We had the coconut shrimp, Black and Tan onion rings, fish and chips, and corn beef pastie. All of which were amazing!!! If it were just for the food we would have given this place a five star. With the good you get the bad and the bad was most of the restaurant. We sat outside being that it was a beautiful clear day and this place had the worst layout for tables, all shapes sizes, styles and placed wherever they would not fall over. The service was alright but we were missed several times when trying to order. When we ordered our drinks the waitress took our IDs to scan and we almost left without getting them back. We got a drink glass with lip marks and silverware with food on them. I would not have been so critical if the prices weren't as high as they were. I don't think it's fair to charge what they do for the small quantities and poor environment.

I have gone here numerous times and it may be the first Scottish pub I've ever been to, but it's always consistently good.
I have tried the Mac & Cheese, Cottage Pie, Bangers & Mash, Braveheart, Banger Sliders and Fish & Chips so far, which were all delicious and they may have my favorite Fish & Chips in the Portland area. However, I would say the prices are a little high for what you get, so I recommend trying to go during happy hour, which is only from 3 to 6pm. They do have the largest whiskey selection in the entire Portland metro area and have a fair amount of imported beers as well.
It can get very crowded during prime hours since there isn't a lot of space or seating. It has a small upstairs with three connecting tiny rooms, one which has a short bar, but it also has a downstairs that is their whiskey bar and offers live music on occasion. However it does have a nice "homey" feel to the interior and this is a great place to go during the summer, when you can take advantage of the outdoor seating (some of which is covered) and beautiful view of Willamette Falls. I've had both good and not so great service before, so I guess that depends on how busy it is, where you sit and who you are ordering from.
Overall though, this is a unique place that is well worth at least checking out once, especially if you are a connoisseur of whiskey and enjoy good food from the isles.
