Q's Restaurant

Q is a charming little restaurant tucked off to the side of the Hotel Boulderado. I'm not sure if it's operated independently of the hotel, but it shares the same pretty architecture.

The service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent - we had some beef skewers on a greek salad. I eat no beef and my brother eats no vegetables, so it was a perfect plate to share! Lightly dressed with nice big chunks of feta. I next had the salmon sandwich. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a nice savory-sweet onion relish. I opted for the sweet potato fries, mmm perfect! My brother was happy with his Caesar, said it was not overdressed. My sister in law had an appointment and had to leave just as the food arrived, so they promptly brought her a takeaway container and her salad, which contained ginormous shrimp, held up very well.

As I said, the room is totally charming and they had great music playing at a low volume, perfect for conversation. Great experience!

The service was excellent and the food was fantastic.  The only complaint was with the chocolate flourless cake which was mediocre at best.

The food is always delightful!  Our server, Nicole, was absolutely charming and made several nice recommendations.  The Beverage Director & Manager, Adrian, delivered our lunch and was on the floor interacting with guests for the duration of our visit (Boulder's Best Mixologist 2012, too:)).
Try the beet salad, the flourless chocolate cake, happy hour menu, and anything that's running as a daily special.  The chef's are inspired to create, and it shows!
