A Fine Irish Pub! Â This establishment has all of the charm of a place that's been around a long time and knows how to make customers feel good and leave full and happy. Â The bread they give you as a starter is outstanding. Â If the beef Wellington is on the specials menu, check it out! Â The prices are also very reasonable, considering it has the fun of a pub, but the food is elevated a step above typical pub fare. Â
A downside is that it is always packed! Â This makes the seating tight and the noise level on the high side. Â Make a reservation if you can, or try going for lunch. Â Sitting at the bar is always a good choice too because the bartenders are very efficient. Â I believe they have live music on some evenings.
I'm definitely a fan of this place - Â well above average for bar food. Â The bartenders and staff are efficient, though the wait staff isn't necessarily overly friendly. Â Probably because they're too busy. Â The owner likes to make people comfortable, that's obvious. Â Prices at lunch can be extremely reasonable. Â Dinner is, obviously, more pricey, but the reality is that it's line for what you're getting (especially sea food). Â Recommended if you're in the area.
Regulars tend to be a bit geriatric. Â Most of them are nice though.
