We've been to Ireland often enough to be snobbish when it comes to restaurants claiming to serve Irish food in the states. Thacher's claim is GENUINE! We especially enjoy the "Taste of Ireland" platter - enough for TWO! An authentic atmosphere and decor (there's a reproduction of a thatched house in the middle of the restaurant complete with dining room) and a nice big pub-like bar, Shenanigans.

Went with a group of 6 of my friends to eat dinner here. All of us had mix reactions of our food.
Definitely recommend the Taste of Ireland. It costs around $15(price may change) and it includes a sampler portion of Chicken Pot Pie, Lamb Stew, Shepherds Pie, Irish Bangers(sausage), and Guinness Beef Stew served with Mash potatoes.
They have a good variety of their draft beers and always have specials(food and drink) for the week.
Just got back.......went with hubby and kids for sandwiches and sodas and/or waters.  Very reasonably priced ........2 BLTs, burger and Thatcher fries (as an entrée).
Service was quick...reliable....but tonight I wish to discuss the décor.  Inside is like being inside a cottage in Ireland.
The chandeliers are beautiful! Â Crystal and gold, very fancy and pretty to look at ......also I really enjoyed the place mats at each place setting......antique-y looking and very sturdy...each was green and gold trimmed with various scenes of Old Ireland on them.
Along the upper walls are plates.....prettily decorated, some floral, some design inspired....pinks and whites.......
Honestly, the décor alone makes this restaurant worth the trip!
