A rather unremarkable chicken sandwich surrounded by some very tasty onion rings.  Can't win 'em all I guess.  Puzzled by the name.  Not sure what we are recovering from.  But, that's ok. If I was a local, I think I would hang out there with my pals to watch sports because there is a very impressive collection of TVs!   Menu wasy standard bar food type offerings.  I am sure some good, some not so much.  Some of the staff seemed like they were having some difficulties on the Thursday night I was there, but the guy behind the bar was solid.  Good selection of beer too.

Nice spot for an evening out.  Unique food choices that are good, yet some traditional food that are just as good.

Service was great, food is a little pricey for some of the items.  The beer is a little expensive for some brands.  I would go there with friends.

Recovery has gotten markedly better in the last few months. The cheesy, wanna-be headline writer wants t say "Recovery has recovered" but I'll refrain. It's just a better place.

First, the beer selection is vastly improved. Much more emphasis on the local products: Mountain State Brewing, Bridge, etc., and more craft taps. The service vis-a-vis beer is upgraded too. The first pour of the day from a tap is not into a glass, i.e. stale, but goes down the drain, with only fresh product hitting the customer's glass. I wish every sports bar would do this.

Finally, Recovery has become more involved in the beer community, hosting tasting and meet the brewer events. This is great for everyone involved and something more places in town should embrace. And it's still a great place to watch a game.

Bottom line: I wasn't impressed before but I am more so now. Good work. Keep it up.

We asked to be seated outside but they told us they don't play hockey outside (NHL playoffs). They had 4 TVs and only 3 occupied table.  Very snobbish in my opinion. Half my wings were cold and the waitress did not check on us once after we got our food.  I'll pass next time

Not a recommended place to "eat" in Charleston.  Other than the atmosphere this place has nothing going for it.  The food leaves much to be desired.

New in town, quick friendly service. Local beers on tap gives them another star. Cold uninspired food costs them a couple of stars. Pot stickers were almost cold, fish and chips looked like they came from the frozen food section of Krogers. Loud crowd in the background and Techno playing too, you don't play Techno in a sports bar.
I would meet friends here for a gathering but it wouldn't be my choice of locations, too many other great food/bar choices downtown to waste time here.

I came here with some friends from work on a Monday evening. We got seated very quickly and the waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere is your typical sports at but maybe a little quieter so we were able to have a pleasant conversation. I had the ahi tuna salad and it was great! I would come again.
