I seriously want to like to this place--the ambience, the live entertainment, and the vibe of this place is great. But after 3-4 visits with sub-par food and seriously overpriced drinks--I think I'll look elsewhere for dining out. Even the happy hour food, while not amazing by any stretch, at half price is barely edible (and at least one time was inedible and returned to the kitchen--something I NEVER do.) I can't imagine paying full price for that quality (and quantity) of food. And, the $11 Lemon Drop is good, but not certainly not "great". Crap--I don't pay that in downtown Seattle! The staff is always professional, but definitely not friendly--and they appear to cater to their "regular" guests, at the expense of newcomers. Movin' on...

If I didn't have too, I would have not given even 1 star. The service was horrific, Patrick, who has been there for years, was rude, short to everyone he speaks too and unhelpful. The food is ok at best but I could overlook the price and quality if the service was remotely good. It is truly the worse service I have ever received. After waiting for 45 minutes to be servied a second round, Patrick was upset that I requested management and crumpled up the receipt and threw it on the ground. It was humiliating and extremely unprofessional.

I love this place. Sigh. It's romantic, chill, relaxing and the food is phenomenal. The hubby and I came here on Valentine's Day and were wined and dined by these folks. They had a special menu for the night and it was filled with unique food combinations and quite a bit to choose from so we sampled a lot of different things. The servers are friendly and quick and the food is one of a kind. I do love this place...

Okay... Where do I start... We arrived after riding motorcycles..  Let me preface- we prefer barking frog- palisades etc... But walked around snohomish for some appetizers ... Tried the Repp.
First- while out front looking over menu, manager was out front doing garbage:"complaining about no one spending money ."
Second- waitress took forever and place was empty in dinner section- only 5 peeps at bar.
While some folks arrived for dinner our  waitress never came by to ask;" how our food was or if we needed anything."
Garlic honey Shrimp appetizer was 'bland'.
Caprese' salad... Old and cheap mozzarella .
( I make mine at home with mozzarella from whole foods and vine fresh tomatos/ fresh basil) mine is way better... How is that!?
I can tell they use cheap and not fresh mozzarella  ... I couldn't finish it and stomach upset later.

(Owner tip: consider buying tomato's from farmers market...advertise locally bought-fresh-buy better Moz....it will improve!)

Also, Owner heads up- watch bar rescue- you are doing what everyone says equals failure.
    Cheap food items. Bad service.

Why would anyone come back to spend money?
The best person who gave best service was "your hostess ."
Your waitress - bobbed blond hair- we saw her 3 x - take order - after long wait- our check- take money.
Never asked or provided sweeteners for our ice tea even....(hostess helped)
Never stopped by to check on us.
You better improve your quality and chat with staff- your hostess deserves a raise - or promotion.
Locals who don't get out to nice places may think this place is okay...but not foodies.

This place is great. My steak was done to perfection. The three cheese dip was to die for. Everything was delicious. The service was great. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

I've come here for years.... But the food has just been going down hill!  Burnt appetizer and entree.... Rushed service.... Over peppered entree ( thank goodness I didn't say yes to freshly ground pepper at the table)!  Disappointed.

Nice atmosphere. The hostess was wonderful and accommodating. The service was a little slow but very friendly. The crab cakes were a big let down. Very little actual crab; mostly vegetables and filler. I ordered the mushroom ravioli which, although flavorful, was much too salty and full of fat for my taste. My dinner companion ordered the prawn scampi and said the same - too salty and rich.  Not a good place for families - only one highchair in the place. I think it would be a nice place to go for a drink and an appetizer but I won't go back for a meal.

Very nice! Nice place, no beer signs like most of Snohomish. We happen to hit happy hour , enjoyed steak bites and salad . The dark haired  bright eyed girl behind the bar was just great.

The people all around the bar were friendly and smiling, this isn't one of those hang your head over your beer bars, like a few other spots in town.

    Yes, I would return

Been here a number of times during the happy hour for appetizers. Good beer selection. Get the goat cheese fritters for sure. The scallops were good. My buddy had the fish n'chips once for lunch and wasn't crazy about the breading--it looked awesome to me, so who knows? Music (modern and sprout rock) was at the perfect level. Place could be cleaner, but I'm quite picky about sanitation. Service has always been friendly enough. I'll keep going back whenever I get over to Snohomish.

LOVE it here. My girlfriends and I always come here after work for their happy hour. We try to get the little window spot in front with the cozy couches so we can people watch out the window onto 1st st.
The goat fritters or "goat cheese balls" as we like to call them are AMAZING. Goat cheese rolled into balls, breaded, served warm with saspberry breserves and toasted bread. YUM! Goes great with our wine =)
My fiancee has also tried their "happy hour" steak dinner which he really liked too.
Service is always fast and friendly and the ambiance is great.
    I highly recommend it here!

Came in for HH for a quick bite and was amazed by the quality of the food and service right off the bat! I've been in before but was perplexed by some of the sub par reviews I've recently read on Yelp. So I came back in to make sure my initial positive review was right. Low and behold my server was named directly in a poor review that stood out to me. I found Rachel to be the most tentative, warm and courteous server I've encountered in a long time. I will gladly come back time and time again for delicious food and an outstanding atmosphere! Thank you

Goat Cheese Fritters with Raspberry Preserves and Crostini - Combination made in heaven - LOVE! Mushroom Ravioli in Lobster Broth - Really? Uh-Mazing. Drinks - wanna get drunk? Yes please. I had the Pom Pom and it was supah-supah-strong! And tasty! If you are in the area, make the trip to The Repp, you will not be disappointed. Their prices can be a little steep, but WORTH EVERY PENNY. If you want to save some $$, stop in during Happy Hour. Good deals!

Wife and I celebrated her birthday with a quick dinner without the kids.

Calamari awesome.  Cooked perfectly and big portion.

Wife had gorgonzola chicken pasta and she said it was excellent.

I had the Kobe Burger.  Tasty burger.

Go for happy hour.  Great deals and 1/2 price.

Love the brick walls, high ceilings and overall feel.

Service was friendly and we enjoyed our night.

Very disappointed with The Repp.  We went there for dinner last night and ended up walking out without eating.  Excellent hostess that seated us promptly but it was down hill from there.  Very slow service from our server, Rachel, and then an attitude when we sent food back and asked for the check.  I know some restaurants like to be all fancy with not writing down your order BUT if you're going to do this please get the orders right.  I ordered the Sirloin medium rare and my dinner date ordered the Filet medium but a little more to the pinker side.  We waited no less than 15 minutes for our salad to arrive then 45 minutes for our dinner.  When our dinner for there my steak was complete cooked through to well and hers was bloody and cold inside.  The cook was also very heavy handed with the salt - after our walk back to the car and arriving at another place to eat I could still taste the salt in my mouth.  The food as a whole was luke warm which tells me that 45 minutes we were awaiting our meal it was probably sitting up there waiting for pick up.  When we called the waitress over to discuss the issues with our meal, she had reversed the cooking instruction accidentally (which I can understand since she did not write it down) and then said "well what do you want me to do about it?"  We kindly asked for the food to be taken and requested our check.....waited another 10 minutes for check....which in my mind if I were her I would have apologized and comped the $7.00 bill.....put money out which was taken by the hostess and given to our server who proceeded to wait tables rather than quickly bring me my change since it had been over an hour since I stepped in the restaurant and was leaving WITHOUT eating!  I ended up going to find her, she gave me the change and again did not apologize for anything.  Worst service I've ever had.  I will not be returning to The Repp and will be spreading the news about this rotten experience.  After posting this on Facebook last night we got a few comments from friend who also had similar experiences at The Repp.  Sad that my evening was ruined by a rude, incompetent server but I can say the food we had as an alternate was FANTASTIC!

Hubby took me on a date here after hearing so many good things about The Repp. We made reservations for Saturday at 7:45 and it was packed. We started with side Caesar salads which were awwwwwesome. Perfect amount of creamy dressing and crunchy homemade croutons. The bread and oil and vinegar is also delish. I ordered the fettuccine with chicken and mushrooms...the white wine cream sauce was THE best sauce I have ever tasted. So good. My husband had the half roast chicken. They were out of polenta do they made mashed potatoes which were very good. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and the chicken literally fell off the bone. I would have loved dessert but we were stuffed. Live music was awesome, the stage is up in a loft type area which is nice as it doesn't take away from the already limited seating. It's very loud in there, even more with music, but it's cozy and funky. We are going back just so we can try more of the menu! Service was great, everyone was very friendly.

We have since gone back twice and have excellent service every time and delicious food. The mushrooms, oh the mushrooms. Every dish with mushrooms is SO good.

"It might be the nicest place in Snohomish, but that's not saying much."  Pretty much.

When this restaurant was Sebastian's, it used to be my favorite place.  I still LOVE the vibe of the place (so much), the live music on weekends, and thankfully a lot of the great menu items are the same, but in the past years I've had some spotty experiences.  :(  They have/had this amazing scallops dish that remained on the menu through the changeover, but my mom and I's most recent order, the scallops were all overcooked.  The service is either great or very mediocre.  I miss the window seating (though the idea of the comfier larger group seating by the window is nice!).  On NYE, the food was DELICIOUS (besides the appetizer), but for the price, the portions were RIDICULOUSLY small.  I literally laughed at how small they were (that's what she said).  Normally the prices and portions are much more reasonable.  My dad ordered lobster ($60+ with minuscule bland sturgeon appetizer and dessert, no bread, but good champagne) and it wasn't prepared correctly!  He had to do an embarrassing amount of work to get to the lobster meat (seems like the tendons weren't cut or something like that). Our waitress disappeared and kept forgetting things too.  I don't know if I'll come back here next time unless this place patches up the many holes in an otherwise great, unique place.

I have been to the Repp many times and it's my favorite place to have dinner in Snohomish.  What keeps me coming back?  I enjoy the atmosphere and the 007 martini.  There is no one, and I mean no one (well...that I have found) that makes such a delectable dirty martini.  Going during happy hour is highly recommended, or else the prices on everything are a bit high.  Why not 5 stars?  The food is very good, though to be honest, if the place were a hole in the wall I probably wouldn't be so loyal.  The menu could potentially be expanded and/or have a chef's special now and then, as the selection isn't ideal.  Nonetheless, the Repp is a great place for a date night and to meet friends.  Favorite foods:  the beer battered mushrooms (very nice with the 007 I mentioned, or one of the beers on tap) and the raviolis.

Top sirloin is excellent -- not just the steak itself, but the garlic potatoes and vegetables -- and the guitar&drums blues band upstairs made it taste that much better.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is funky and the music on weekends is great. The prices are perfect, not high at all (a melt-in-your-mouth, cooked to perfection, thick cut, Washington raised filet mignon for ~$22)... can't beat that! My husband and I love coming here on date night... I recommend this spot to anyone!

    My God...

Snohomish has a hidden gem that I never expected to see.

My little hometown has finally outgrown the biker dives, kitschy cafes, and shitty chinese places that have been the norm for the 20+ years I've lived in the area.

The wife and I needed a date night away from the kids so we decided to stay within 2 miles of home so if we decided to go batshit we wouldn't have to take up the entire road for too far to get home.

We started here at the Repp. Wow. That's really all I can put into words as to how great this place is. So good I'm almost tempted to ghost a few accounts and give crappy reviews as to keep it a secret. But I wont. It's just too good.

The atmosphere was great for a date night, the server was awesome and extremely good at his job. The food was incredible. This is the first time in my life I've ever had a pork chop I actually liked, and this pork chop almost made me want to ditch my wife (whom was dressed incredibly sexy) and take the chop home instead. Didn't even try my wife's dinner cause I was too busy being infatuated with mine.

The drinks... heh. Just get one. It's worth it, and dammit they're tasty. I rarely find it worth the price they charge. Wife's martini, it was almost overflowing. For $7 she got estimated four shots. First time I've ever seen a full size martini glass completely full, let alone spilling out. I don't remember what I had, it was probably some sort of frilly girly drink just like I always manage to get.

Go here. You won't be disappointed. Any bad reviews on this place are from people trying to keep it secret.

If this restaurant could deliver what it's trying to, it would be a huge addition to the Snohomish area.
The goal: An intimate spot for cocktails and northwest cuisine.
The reality: Strong cocktails. The specialty drinks are good but much more expensive than their other drinks. The atmosphere is nice, a little classy and romantic. But there are lot of pieces thrown together that don't really match - from Marilyn Monroe posters to a strange fountain as a table.
Most importantly, the food is just bad. The crab cakes had almost no crab, just carrots and crackers.Everything tastes frozen and carelessly tossed together.

I was tempted to give this place a one star rating in an attempt to keep it a secret.  I think The Repp may be the best Snohomish has to offer.  The interior has dark red walls with brick lit by candlelight making this place feel cozy and upscale.  They offer a great bar selection and many delicious morsels on the menu to choose from.  You can't go wrong with the happy hour menu which includes a "Top Sirloin."  I think they lie...whenever I order it, it's more like a filet mignon cut and is cooked to perfection.

I can confirm the Kris Kristofferson doppleganger mentioned by another yelper at the bar (or was it Kenny Rogers?)  The crowd is usually an older/quieter group which isn't necessarily a bad thing considering I'm starting to fall into the first category.

However, the last time I was there, I saw (and HEARD) a "gentleman" who seemed a bit out of place for the joint in his trucker hat and dirty, well worn clothing.  It was entertaining to hear him speak in a very loud tone disrupting neighboring patrons (my favorite bar in Vegas features a crazed Vietnam Vet that would verbally assault the female clientele so I felt right at home.)

The staff was courteous to this odd man out and after a few for the road (or sidewalk) he was on his way.  Maybe this guy was being paid by another Repp fan like myself in attempts to scare off unknowing customers about this gem in Snohomish?  If not...I may need to put this plan into action to be assured I always have a place for me at the bar.

The only true complaint is it can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit during happy hour which is understandable given the all around quality of The Repp.

    Cheers,

Previous reviews posted here seasoned our decision to experience "The Repp".

The decor is "homey historic". (my description & I'm goin' with it) and the private, dim lit seating arrangement made for a cozy setting. The service... Impeccable. We were seated in an end booth directly under, yes I said "under" the entertainment platform. So we had front row seating to what felt like a personal concert  performed by Cameron Nichols. Which, by the way was a great performance. The placement for the entertainer's is ingenious. Everyone in the establishment can watch their performance and the sound is better distributed in my opinion, however, I'm not an expert in acoustics; it's simply an opinion.

This diner says, "2 thumbs up and if I had more thumbs, they'd be up as well." OH AND "The Repp most definitely has a "good rep."

This was an exceptional dining experience. So to quote Arnold in the Terminator, "I'll Be Back." ;^)

Well, I *really* wanted to like this place, but it's just not that great.  It might be the nicest place in Snohomish, but that's not saying much.

I've even been back a second time just to double check.  I mean.. maybe we were there on a bad night? or maybe our hopes were to high?  Nope and nope.  The food is OK, the atmosphere is better than average, but the service is extremely poor.  I'd also like just a little bit more light when I'm eating.  I like to know what's on my plate, but could barely see my food.

There is nothing particularly bad about this place (well, except for the service), there's nothing particularly good about it either.

    meh.

Quite possibly the coolest restaurant in Snohomish.  Granted, if you don't live in Snohomish, you might find it to be a little bit out of the way - but if you're willing to make the drive out here, it's well worth the trek.

The Repp is the kind of place that, no matter how crowded it gets, you'll almost always feel as though you've got the whole place to yourself.  Still can't quite figure out if this is due to the decor, the way the booths are set up, or just from the constant attention you get from the staff here.  Not sure what it is exactly  - I just know that I like it.

Oh, and someone's going to have to confirm this for me - but each time I've been here I keep seeing the celebrity doppleganger for Chris Kristofferson.  Only he's gotten a haircut.  Weird.   Of course, I had lost track of how many drinks I'd had at this point, so anything's possible.

The menu here is really pretty diverse.  I'm especially a fan of the garlic prawns, the bacon wrapped scallops (mmm...bacon...) and the Kobe Burger.  Wasn't terribly impressed with the crab cakes (too much cake...not enough crab) or the calamari.  Also, they've got an excellent wine list and some really great beers on tap.

Added bonus:  Jessica, the owner, switches out the art every couple of months or so and she tries to highlight all local artists.  Big props for local art!

This part of Snohomish is pretty well known for their antique shops.  And if you visit out here, you'll see why.  So if you find yourself out in Snohomish shopping at the many antique shops, or just browsing around, plan on stopping in to the Repp for dinner.  It will definitely be worth it.

The Repp is my new obcession.

Super CUTE decor, decent wine list, decent beer list (I would enjoy some more local favorites), some might say the prices are a bit high, but when you're an independant restaurant in a world of chains, it's understandable (& forgivable). Definitely would be a good place for a girls night out..

We ordered our beers (read as: mac & jacks looooove) and an appetizer which turned out to be the best decision we made all night. We ordered the beer-battered mushrooms. I figured they'd be crispy and battered but hardly woody & flavorful like mushrooms should be.. Boy - was I wrong!! An entire plate of pipping hot, crispy but moist, beer batter covered muchrooms soon appeared before us.. we were in heaven. So delicious, so delectable.. so divine! It's definitely a must-have from now on!

moving on,  I had the mushrooms ravoili and it was pretty good. The night we were there they were out of pesto (which i thought was a bit weird because it's not too terribly difficult to conjure up), so I had the mushrooms ravoili in the lobster bisque instead of the pesto sauce.
the lobster bisque, solo, was wonderful. a little buttery & rich but yummy nonetheless. the ravoili was tender & full of those beautiful woody mushrooms but honestly, the bisque was best..

our waiter was knowledgable, polite, & wished my sister a happy birthday which was nice :)

all in all, if your in snohomish, (or even mukilteo, mill creek, lake stevens or everett), do yourself & loved ones a favor and go check out the repp! if i see you there, i'll send over some of those lovely beer battered mushrooms.

My favorite restaurant in Snohomish. A great menu with an awesome atmosphere to share an appetizer and sip a wine.

    Cons:
I love jazz music but when seated at the booth closest to the second story stage, it is just too loud to have a conversation and it crosses the line becoming a bit unpleasant. I came for dinner not a concert.

Our waitress stared excessively long at my driver's license which I found irritating and unfriendly. I was with my mother for one and I am of age. Check my DOB and picture and hand it back to me. Don't memorize my personal information.

I would say for Snohomish the food is above average, but probably a bit overpriced. It has a nice upscale atmosphere and our service was fine. But, come on, $12 for a cocktail? In Snohomish?

I would recommend The Repp to someone looking for a somewhat elegant dining experience in Snohomish. But I would also recommend the owners of The Repp reconsider their pricing structure and quit charging Canlis type prices on their cocktails. Snohomish is Snohomish and Canlis is, well, Canlis. I've been to Canlis Repp, and Repp, you are no Canlis.

My girlfriend and I ate at The Repp last night. It's located on 1st Street in the historic area of Snohomish. The atmosphere is top notch. We both had martinis. They were well made. She had the (made from scratch) mushroom ravioli dish. I had a taste, and it was one of the best ravioli dishes that I have ever sampled. I wasn't too hungry, so I had clams in white wine sauce. The clams were perfectly cooked, and were not chewy at all (many times I find that places overcook the clams). The prices were not high given the quality and care that obviously went into the dishes. We'll be back for sure.

I recently visited The Repp on my very first time to Snohomish. This cute little town and fun restaurant have made me a big fan. We were looking for somewhere to take a drive and eat some good food so we did a Yelp search and found this little gem. They also have half-priced bottles of wine on Sundays, so... off we went.

I love the ambiance of The Repp. It is very casual, has lots of dark wood, beautiful stained glass, a huge bar and is in a cool, old building. Very fun! The crowd there seems to be very eclectic which I love.

Since it was half-price on the bottles of wine we chose a white that would have been $16. Somehow it had gotten opened so the waiter gave it to us for $11. Nice! We started with the bacon-wrapped scallops and margherita pizza. The scallops were excellent. Big chunks of scallop, generous hunks of bacon and a good sauce over the top. They were piping hot, too. If anything they had *too* much bacon which I can't even believe I am complaining about. The pizza was a little less stellar but still tasty. The sauce turned out to be pesto-based which we were not anticipating. The inside bottom of the crust was a little undercooked and floppy but the upper crust did have delicious grill  marks.  We finished off with the mushroom ravioli with sage butter sauce. Oh, oh, yes. So good. They were hot, creamy and the sage butter was delicious. They were so good we figured they must be homemade but, sadly enough, that waiter told us they bought them from their produce guy. Well, the vegetable guy can make good pasta. Can't fault him for that.

We will definitely head back to The Repp the next time we are in the Snohomish burg. They had a fun-looking cocktail list and I would love to hear some live music. May I also recommend strolling down to the river after your food enjoyment? Nice touch.

Down to earth, with a touch of class.  Great place to go for a relatively mellow evening, if you're not in the mood for a dive bar, sports bar, or whooping it up at karaoke bar.

Great atmosphere and ambiance, dimly lit and with a homey feel.  The musical artists they have here also lend a nice touch.  Even the restroom is pleasant!  This place is a nice place to just kick back, enjoy some great food, and have a great bottle (or two) of wine.  The booth seating is perfect for a more intimate and romantic evening if you're into that...very cozy.  "Ahhhhh...."

I've been here once since it was Sebastian's, and although Sebastian's wasn't bad, I do like this place better now.  I had the flat iron steak salad and it was to die for!  The Repp has a great menu and the food presentation is great.

    Definitely recommended.

Why go here? Tremendously well-prepared/variety of food and peaceful environment! I will recommend this establishment to anyone wanting to have a selection of the best food in town, mellow patrons, and price-structure suitable for whomever. This is a place you can rely on for numerous consistent attributes.

For many years, there was a reason why I did not go into Snohomish(when around) on 1st Street to dine OR to go enjoy a chill evening. That was impossible!

Now there is finally a place where I will return to and know I can expect an environment which the entire town was lacking! Not only is the staff serving up food of perfection, but you can sit, have a relaxing time listening to live, YET, quiet jazz, AND have a conversation where you are not raising your voice. Jazz is played above the soft-lit room in a unique setting Friday and Saturday evenings from around 6pm-10:30pm.

The clientele, of which is incredibly eclectic, remains respectful of the environment. The type of people ranged from mid-20's to mid 60's. It would be a perfect place to take a date or just to have a meal better than any other place in the town.

Of several different meals, there is nothing I can complain about. The enthusiasm of the staff and the owners is something which sets The REPP apart from the entire scene of Snohomish.

We found the Repp an enjoyable experience. The "Dad's old Fashion Manhattan" was very good as well was the wine selection. The Caprice Salad was served traditional and could have used a touch more olive oil on it but still refreshing and tasty. I had the Parmigiana Chicken which was huge, but the one thing that made it stand out was the fact that the under side was almost burnt. This gave the dish a distinctly smokey flavor which I am sure was not intended. My wife had the wild mushroom ravioli with sage butter which was sublime, the smell was amazing and the sauce was perfect. For desert she chose the "apple tartan" which she moaned over. This is the only important part of the dessert review which is worth mentioning, enough said.
A live jazz duet played in the balcony while we dined which was a very nice touch.
The bar seemed to be filled with a kind of "meat market vibe" which did not distract from the experience, but added humor at times.
The Wait Staff was very good and friendly!

Awesome steak.  Good wine.  Great service.  And lovely music.  It's a cut above the usual Snohomish bar.  This is probably where all the hot chicks in Snohomish go so they can get hit on by classy guys.  It's that good.

The Repp, formerly Sebastian's of Snohomish is a breath of fresh air.  Tom and Jessika, the owners are very young and hip and have found the perfect balance for Snohomish.

From the moment you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a smile and the warmth of the restaurant.  The smell of garlic permeates the air and my tummy rumbles immediately.  The dimly lit booths are conducive to a romantic evening of hand holding and private giggles.

The menu has something for everyone and is reflected in the pricing. The Repp offers a very nice variety of wines and charge 1/2 price for bottles on Sundays.  I love the goat cheese fritter appetizer and their fresh salads.  I have had many wonderful meals from killer burgers to roast lamb.  This is good food.  Really good food.  I have to mention the bread here.  The bread is baked next door at the Snohomish Bakery, you want to talk about fresh.  Whoever said "man does not live on bread alone" has not had the Snohomish Bakery bread.

I am not a jazz fan and The Repp often has live jazz playing at the dinner hour.  It is not overly intrusive and can be ignored if desired.
The cocktails at the Repp are wonderful I had my first and second Chocolate Martini there last week.  Ahhh a whole new reason to live.

Go see Tom and Jessika at the Repp and have a wonderful evening.
