Awesome Friends... and Wine!!

My favorite wine bar in Walnut Creek, hands down.  The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and down to earth.  The music ranges depending on the mood of the staff, but often times in the late evening, they will play some West Coast Rap or modern R&B.  Awesome recommendations, wines on tap, and super tasty food.  One of my faves!

Came here on Friday (5/31) after work with a few people. Got here around 4pm and the place was empty - perfect for us because we got a good seat! They have happy hour until 6pm so you know that's what we were about. Wine is $3 and beer is $4 (or $5) for HH.

Love the atmosphere of the place. The bartender was really nice.
I had to leave for an appointment at 5, but came back because my group was still there. Between 5 and 5:30 this place got poppin'! Came back and the place was standing room only. Dang! Lots of nicely dressed people (just coming from work). Good age spread, late 20's to mid-40's mostly.

We also got a cheese plate with their blue cheese and a couple of other cheeses as well. Delicious! Very tasty and fresh!

I won't have a problem coming back, but with the non-HH prices being very stiff I can't say I'll be back anytime after 6pm!
