We were on vacation in Sausalito from Southern Cal and on our way home we stopped by this charming cafe in Moraga. The Home/made setting was so comfortable and tranquil. The Hacienda community center is extremely dog friendly which is a bonus- I highly recommend bringing your furry friends and sit outside enjoying a delicious meal with a comfortable outdoors atmosphere.

The staff is wonderful, attentive and helpful. They continued to check on us, offer us refills, presented samples (mushrooms marinated in a type of oil served in this cute little mason jar! I mean the details are phenomenal)! The staff even offered water for our dogs!
The food... my goodness- fresh, fresh, fresh! My husband had the turkey sandwich which you can tell was made with the freshest ingredients and I had the chicken caesar salad. Although, I feel my salad could have a bit more chicken on it but the greens and dressing was delicious and again, so fresh!

Now let's get to the desserts. I've heard from people about Home/made's desserts so we had to try (one for each of us to share)! We selected the coffee cake and the cinnamon roll. Well, my husband didn't let me try any of the cinnamon roll because he was too busy devouring it before I could have a bite! I'm assuming it was spectacular because of his enthusiasm! My coffee cake was delicious and perfect on a morning in the park enjoying beautiful weather.

If you want the freshest ingredients with a comfortable atmosphere, affordable prices and friendly staff- Home/made Kitchen is the place to go.

We have another Sausalito vacation scheduled in August and a visit to Home/made is in our plans!!

As a life-long resident, the Hacienda de las Flores has always been an underutilized resource of the town. It's an amazing place, but there's never been a good excuse to dawdle here.

Home/made is a very welcome addition to the Hacienda. It fits in perfectly here. The setting is peaceful and idyllic. You can sit outside, under the loggia or out by the fountain. Plenty of space so you won't feel rushed. I prefer this to the factory-line bustle of Starbucks.

Today, French-press coffee and coffee cake. Very nice and friendly service. And wifi.

There's also a breakfast menu. I'll return soon to try it!
