The Delta Wires

How many crappy bands have you heard at festivals and weddings? I heard too many! This is why I thought that the Delta Wires deserve some kudos. That band rocks! I saw them at the Lafayette Food & Wine Festival last summer. They can really get a crowd dancing! Awesome musicians, great horn section. Tony at the drums rocks!
In January 2008, they were finalists at the Memphis International Blues Challenge, where hundreds of bands from all around the world showed up to compete. To be honest with you I don't know how much they charge to be booked but it would definitely be worth checking. Personally, I don't have to pay for a wedding until many years away from now. The good news is that I am sure they'll still be around when I need to give them a buzz.
