This is a classic example of an overrated hipster joint with bad service and mediocre food. If you want to waste your money and be part of a lame ass scene, this place is totally for you. The hostesses were nice and cute but our waitress was a stuck up biznatch. She acted like she was doing us a favor in taking our orders and practically rushed us out asking us if we wanted to see the dessert menu when we were not even done ordering food. It is a good thing that she did though, because it forced us to walk down the street and get some REAL food.

Wow! Very nice place!  Second time here.  Oakland continues to surprise me with amazing restaurants hidden in random places.  The atmosphere is great.  Good lighting, good food, and most of all..(biggie for me).. amazing personal-feeling service !Yesenia, our perfectly attentive and genuine server put the fifth star on this review :)  Helped us pick the perfect wine, available before you even know you need something, and didn't judge us for mixing shots of tequila and wine and desert..  It's the little things..

my friend and i came to get a drink after our dance class at flying yoga shala.  the inside was pretty quiet, and we sat at the bar.  when i went to the bathroom, i realized there was a whole back patio that was packed!  they have nice wine cocktails here and is a good place to catch up w/ an old friend!
