Dogwood

Dogwood is a super cute, small bar, located close to Downtown Oakland. The bartenders are nice, though it can be a little slow when the place fills up and there aren't enough staff on hand.

I got a wine, beer, and a grilled cheese (after salivating at the ones my co-workers ordered). Is a grilled cheese worth $5?  Maybe.  The cheese and bread were of good quality, but what really hit the spot was the mustard on the side. Yum.

Amazing cocktails and cuban-style sandwiches.  The small plates are amazing, but will not fill you up.  It gets a little crowded, but is otherwise a great spot.

Cool vibe, mixed crowd. Will have to come back and stay longer!
