Room 389

Cool little pub on Grand. They have a small patio area at the front door for chilling and smoking. This place was hopping on a Monday late afternoon. Nice variety of clientele made it fun and interesting.
Everyone was really nice. Good and efficient bartenders were on board this nite. I would come back...

When you're in the mood for a super-crowded bar, definitely go to Room 389. Usually standing room only when the weather is nice. (when it's cold and rainy outside, it's much more quiet) Cocktails are fine, decent selection of booze.

Quiz night is fun, but you can barely hear the questions sometimes.

Prices are normal

The patio has a cloud of mosquitos for a few months and they really don't mind a horrible smelling garbage can there in a morning.

I know and used to go Room 389 often since it's close to my home. Their coffee doesn't taste good anymore, and they don't mind selling not fresh orange juice as fresh.

Not cool and this neighborhood doesn't deserve this. 389 Grand Ave. is a location with mostly families and what we need here is a good coffee shop rather than a noise generating club.
