Prime Spot Bar and Grill

Today we had the LEATHER prime rib.. When we sent it back for something else chewable, they gave the same piece of Leather in a box togo. We asked a second time for the prime rib dip sandwich and still got hit up for Prime rib dinner. Owner and staff was rude and didn't care if we returned to patronize. This was our 4th visit and our last. Another table commented about the poor quality of prime rib and said, " This was our first visit and we will not be back". One waitress looks like a clown and the youngest one waiting on us din't know what was on the menu.  Cook was sneering at us while the staff made rude comments under breath, directed at us personally. Poor business educate while selling cheapo cuts of beef off as Prime rib ... Last $100 you'll see from our family .. !

DO NOT ORDER THE PRIME RIB!

The prime rib was fatty and so tough that it was extremely difficult to chew and cut through.

I normally do not send food back, but I did. I requested instead to have a prime rib sandwich, which has a thinner cut.

Instead, I received my original meal, tossed into a to-go box (by the color, you could see it was reheated).

Then after speaking with the cook/manager, he unhappily brought me the sandwich as requested (minus any french fries). I thanked him profusely, and he did not utter a single word to me. If looks could kill, I'd been dead on the ground.

I can look past mediocre food, because we all "have bad days" ( which was the excuse the manager gave us) ...but how do you run a restaurant with such poor people skills?

I would've rather paid $45 for a delicious, tender cut of REAL prime rib. Instead, I paid $25 for 10oz. of cheap CHUCK, that I did not take more than 3 bites out of.

Meanwhile, another customer in the restaurant was having issues with his prime rib as well. He said the cook/manager was actually glaring at him from behind the counter. Yikes!

I'm guessing there'll be a few more negative reviews on this joint in the next week or so.

....BOO on you, Prime Spot! Shame on you for serving cheap cuts of meat, and passing them off as more expensive cuts.

I know this is not THE spot to order take-out basic menu items but I had an itch for clam chowder and this was the closest spot. That being said it was just "meh". The buffalo chicken wings were more fried than we appreciated. The caesar salad was great, however, they didn't have it in the take-out order until I doubled checked - always a -1. The environment was, to be honest, tacky. To be fair, didn't eat the meats which is why you would go here usually.
