On a girl date this past Friday and my girl friend asks me if I'm going home after our two-hour dinner or would I like to karaoke. Shoot, let's go singing!
Using my Yelp app we came here because we were not looking for a place where we would sing in front of people. This was the closest spot with the highest ratings and good reviews. For $25/hour - you can belt out the latest and oldest songs. Mostly designed for K & J Pop lovers, the both of us still found songs we both like.
I was entranced by the videos playing the background as some did not go with the song, but hey I've seen cheesier. Love the echo of the mics and the cute Korean voice that speaks when you're punching in the numbers. Okay love is pretty highly-rated but it went along with the theme of the environment.
Hmmm .... now for another sporadic karaoke trip .... we shall see.
Bad place to go if you want to sing some english songs. Also, kinda sketchy. Expensive too (35/hour for a small room up to 5 people). If you're Korean, you'd probably like it better since they've got way more korean songs. Overall, not the best experience. Also, the on-screen lyrics are terribly incomplete.
