Met a friend for drinks and picked Ringo's because I saw it had patio seating.
There were multiple occupied tables on the patio but no wait staff. Â A waitress finally started waiting on tables later in the night but ignored my table until we were about to leave.
I had to keep running to the bar and waiting for the bartender to get drinks/food.
I'd try Ringo's again but I think they need to up their customer service and maybe add a bartender because one wasn't cutting it.
Another oddity is they have a jukebox and someone kept playing Kenny G Christmas music and 311 repeatedly.
Good place for bar food and beer. It can get loud, and it's pretty dark. Your eyes have to adjust when you walk in and out of the restrooms because the dining area is super dim whereas the restrooms are like daylight. Haha. The decor and everything inside reminds me of Scruffy Duffies...or maybe vice versa.
Burgers are good but a little greasy. Turkey panini was THE BOMB. I'd go with that!
Pretty chill place to hang out with friends. Not the best music for my taste. Good crowd.
It gets pretty crowded on weekends (hard to get to the bar). I tend to want to get out of here but my friends love this place!
Usually Ringo's is more of a stop at Shops. Or we end up winding down our night here!
Not bad!
One of these bars is not like the other... This may be my favorite place in the Shops. Â I like it because it is so laid back and casual cool. Â This is another one of those places that I meet fun, new people every time I go. Â It's not a teeny bopper crowd and there aren't cougars running rampant, which is just how I prefer it. Â I fit in, you probably will too.
Review Source:Went for the first time on a Saturday night, gatta say I wasn't impressed.
Besides the fact that there wasn't one decently cute guy in the whole place, Â it was hard to get a drink at the bar.
The only good think it had going for it was my Jack and Coke was pretty strong but for the price it had better be! lol
Came here on a Wednesday for an impromptu dudes night out. Very nice atmosphere with people of all (adult) ages, but mostly late 20s and up. The live music guitar player was great. It was different to not hear songs reminiscient of John Mayer. Oh no, in fact one song in particular was about vaginas. I digress. Anywho, very nice place to come and hang out and have a drink with the guys or gals.
Review Source:I used to live at one of the apartment complexes at the Shops at Legacy and used to love this place. Â I bought a home in Frisco and have not been back in a while. Â The food was always great, especially the fish and chips... no more. Â I'm not sure what happened since the last time I was here, but the food was awful. Â Did they change the chef? Â Did they change their supplier? Â Whatever they did I will not be back. Â The beer battered fish was mushy with far too much batter and the fish had a very fishy smell. The cole slaw that is served with the fish and chips was not edible and the dipping sauce for the fish was just nasty. Â The service was poor with the waitress was completely uninterested in serving our meal. Â
This place goes down on my list with the closed FOX Sports Bar & Grill. A place that started off great with excellent food and excellent service and went quickly downhill. If you want great beer on tap the Gingerman is right around the corner. Â I have a feeling Ringo's is not long for this world. Â Shame.
We bar hopped in the Legacy Town Center area and tried this place out for the first time and really enjoyed it. Â We had already been to several places by the time we arrived so my husband enjoyed a Strongbow and I stuck to soda but I did order a pretty good $5 pretzel (their name). After I scraped off most of the salt it was pretty good with the queso dip but the 'spicy mustard' tasted more like buffalo wing sauce - not good with a pretzel.
The atmosphere was everything you'd expect in a pub - dark wood bar, tables and chairs, some live music outdoors on the patio and friendly wait staff. It's a casual seat-yourself kind of place which I liked.
We'll definitely go back when the weather cools off - too hot for the patio.
This is a pretty busy place on a Saturday, but we were still able to snag a table to eat. I had a very tasty salad for bar food. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients. The staff all seemed happy to be working and checked back often for more drinks.
It is pretty dark inside to give it more of a tavern/pub feel. It's a nice hang out place to take a few friends and grab some drinks or a bite.
You won't find me at this sports bar. I've never been there but when I called to ask a question about a game we wanted to catch. They took two tries to answer and the girl who did finally pick up the phone laughed at me when I asked my question. It was a mocking kind of laugh, very uppity and snotty. Â Sorry but I prefer a place with good customer service and polite mannerisms.
Review Source:I freakin' love this place!!!
I came here after our stop in Addison. Many of my friends have recommended this place...but just never had the chance to make it out to this place. Its not on the main strip of where everything else is....so be mindful of that.
Plenty of parking...and we walked right in. Its cozy....but wasnt too busy on a Thursday night. They had a 2 person band on the patio that was very talented and fun. They sang all kind of covers with only a violin and acoustic guitar. They had all this beautiful beer....so I ordered a Newcastle...which is a staple in my house. We met some nice people...and will be seeing them again in July when they come back from NY. The bartender was cute and very nice as well. I went to pay my tab at the end of the night (6 bucks thanks to nice gentleman paying for my other drinky drinks :P)...and then walked up a DOUCHE!!! He asked for a pitcher of Bud Light....I gave him the look of WTF!?! I mean this isnt 5 dollar pitcher night at the bowling alley!!! The bartender was very nice in telling him that Bud Light isnt on tap....he could get him a bottle if he would like. Then the douche says to him "I MAKE MORE MONEY THAN YOU!!". What does that have to do with anything??? Then he walks out....boo!
Great place to meet people....sit out on the patio...watch World Cup when it comes around again ( I heart soccer!!)...and drink manly beers!! :D
The place is ok. Just as others have suggested, it is way too over crowded. The reason for my bad review is the staff is horrible. I had a tab open at the bar and then joined some friends on the patio. We had 2 waitresses working our table. I ordered a drink and gave my second credit card to open a tab oustide. A few minutes later the other waitress came over to check on us and I ordered another drink from her. She asked if I had a tab and I told her the other waitress had my card. I said I would pay cash or add it to the tab. When she returned, she demanded I give her cash for the drink. I told her my tab was now open through the other waitress and to add it. She stood there and argued with me demanding I pay her in cash ( I guess to make sure she was tipped). I was so fed up, I gave her $10 and told her to go away. Next thing I know, they kicked me out for arguing with the waitress.
It made no sense! The manager didn't even witness what happened and he wouldn't even give me a chance to explain. I was forced to close out my tabs and leave. I will never go back again. Poor service!
The beer selection here is great. The appetizers have usually been great too.
My coworkers and I went here for lunch today. The AC was on full blast and we were all freezing, just hugging our arms around ourselves. We asked twice for the AC to be turned down. It was turned down a little, but the breeze from the AC was still hitting us. I ordered nachos for lunch, and the nachos immediately became cold. I barely managed to eat any before they became cold. I told the waitress this, but there was no response.
They do not give you much food for the price either.
I'll come back here for happy hour, but never again for a meal. Complete waste of time and money.
Lots of beer options and the bartender and waitresses are good at making recommendations if you give them a general idea of what beers you like. They have a nice "rotating tap" too, so the menu doesn't really list the best options.
I spent about 10 minutes waiting to be helped for a drink at the bar while the bartender had a personal conversation with someone right next to me. That put me off but after that the service was very fast and everyone was friendly.
I'm just baffled! Super rude staff in this place. Maybe they need some Christmas cheer or something.
So it's closing time, I get it, u wanna go home. 1:43 is what my watch says, last call bell, good thing my beer is full. 1:50, they are yelling "2 minutes to drink 'em up" ok I can handle this Guinness in 2 minutes, no problem. Then they start yelling more and being rude to everyone, telling them to "get the f out, bar is closed". At this point it's 1:55.
Ok that's ridiculous, I work in service industry, I work in a bar, u don't have to b rude. I guess in all it doesn't matter cause douche bags will always come here, so the staff can always be rude! I just don't think I'll make it back.
I think its a cool place to come to, especially if you live in or close to the Shops. Â It's nowhere to drive a far distance to come and visit though. Â It's a small pub and gets extremely packed on the weekends, so it can be hard to find a spot to hangout at. Â The music is ok and the drinks are fine too. Â The patio is pretty cool.
If you are looking for a fun, crowded place to spend your weekend night at, I would say this is a place to try, and you may even find yourself becoming a regular here.
It's pub by day and then turns into a hopping little joint at night. Â I was a little pissed they took away my stool at the bar as I had been sitting there boozing it up with a friend for several hours. Â The heels I was wearing were not made for standing! Â Just sitting and looking cute. Â I know, my fault.
Drinks are poured and priced fairly.
If you're into soccer this place will definitely have the match on. Â This is an English style pub so if you want American football go around the corner to Scruffy Duffies.
I'm a fan of bars, and have work in the alcohol industry not too long ago. I'm VERY picky about my watering holes. Ringo's Pub has the making of a fantastic experience, but falls just short of my pretentious expectations.
Stay with me on this first experience, this is what REALLY happened.
I was joining a group for an ill-organized Zombie Pub Crawl for the Shops of Legacy. We had fun, and Ringo's was the last place we hit. I had never been there before, and frequent the Gingerman more often, but I'm game for a new pub.
I liked the outdoor patio, it's blocked off so people passing by don't cut through the Ringo's crowd. That's about where the pub loses my interests. I DO NOT like crowded bars. The walk way, from the surrounding parking lots and garage, up to the door is narrow. Who ever thought o play benches there is a moron. Benches = Sitting. When the area is that narrow, a bench is just a knocked knee from a fight. I almost felt as if I was fighting to get to the front of the stage at a concert, and getting the bar was the same way.
Once inside I saw the openness of the bar itself, even though the crowd was...well crowding it up. I don't like bumping shoulders with people to be social with my friends. Also, this usually results in loss off beverage. If I wanted to get that close to people I don't know I'd go to uptown.
The crowd is VERY much the usual drinking bunch; mostly Ed Hardy, Affliction, and Frat Boy types. Not my crowd, especially since I don't drink piss beer.
The second time, which was just this past weekend, was a slightly better experience. Less crowded, still von douche-a-licious. I do feel places usually need a second chance. I have to say that I'm STILL not impressed.
Honestly, I won't go back. I don't like that crowd, and I don't like the crowdedness. It's poorly laid out, and with the Gingerman just on the other side of the garage...it's worth the exercise to go to a better bar.
Bottom Line: we'll be back.
Good food fun atmosphere good service.
Ambience: nice- comfy - but it is DRFINITELY NOT A TALKING BAR. There on a thursday at 7 pm and had to shout to order. Shout to talk to each other. Not a quiet spot at all. Â
My Guinness Draught was served at a perfect temperature, and went well with my Fish and Chips!
Parking behind Rob & Stuckeys was plentiful. All in all a good experience and I will return!
After eating at Naan, my girlfriend and I headed over here b/c neither of us had ever been and with the word "pub" in the name we figured we can steer clear of the snotty Plano kind and be with 20 somethings like ourselves and relax a little. Â
My friend and I elbow our way thru the crowd to the bar where she can't decide what to have after her consumption of melontinis and sake over at Naan. Â I ordered a Red Bull since drinking really screwed me and we are no longer buddies. Â They let her sample some beers (that was nice) and she settled on a dark amber she loved. Â
We look around to assess the place. Â Too many bodies, too little space. Â There was a couple next to us who could not stop molesting each other. Â PDA is ok, but making others feel like they're extras on the set of a C grade porno is not. Â And as is typical of the Shops, it's some blonde 47 yr old with her model-esque dark haired lover. Â She's wearing a white (wayyyy) off-the-shoulder number, black tights, and silver heels that'll put a stripper to shame. Â He's wearing whatever expensive outfit she bought him with her husband's credit card. Scandalous I tell ya.
Over abundance of tools in here. Lots of groups of men, a few women, but mostly men. Â Gross, overgroomed, hair-gelly, Jersey Shore with a twang, men. Music was good, but a bit too loud. I was sitting next to my friend and we had to talk into eachother's faces supplemented with big hand gestures to communicate. Â
Not impressed.
Love this place! Â It's more of a dive bar and reminds me of when I lived in England. Â
Good draft beers, plenty of tvs, good happy hour prices, and a few authentic England Pub dishes. Â
My favorites include:
- pub style fish and chips
- bangers and mash
- shepards pie
Patrons are friendly too, unlike a lot of places in Dallas.
Enjoy!
Went here for lunch with some coworkers despite my adamant protests against it. I ordered the fish and chips and got 2 pieces of battered cod and a handful of french fries for $13. The two other guys got chicken strips which had 3 small strips and a handful of fries and the chicken sandwich, which actually looked pretty good.
Overall the portions seemed small and not worth the price paid. My review hasn't changed!
Ah, le pub.
Went to Ringo's for a recent HH with a friend. Â One of those picture-perfect October late afternoons that REQUIRED sitting on the patio.
Problem with this approach (even with very sparse crowd) is the very inconsistent service. Â Had to go to the bar twice (of three needed visits) to flag-down miss chatty, who was having a grand time yukking it up with other patrons....that's fine and dandy, just spread the love a little; deal? Â I'm a very non-chugging customer, so I'll point the timing blame on our quite social buy not very efficient server.
Didn't have time to try out the pub-grub, so this is one of those drinkin' reviews. Â Prices for HH very reasonable, all said and done, Â
I'll have to give it another whirl, if not for the attempt at consistency.
Some of you Jersey Shore-loving (okay, I love it, too) frat-tastics may be thinking "but there's always grenades there!"
However, sometimes, you need a really laid back bar. Â And most of the time, Shops at Legacy isn't offering that. Â Sometimes, you want to watch sports, eat fried pickles, and wear flats--heck, even flip flops!
To find a laid back pub where nice people go is really uncommon in this area. Â The last time I went with a group, another group at a picnic table outside let us join, and we made new friends.
If you're in the mood for fake boobs/poor service, go somewhere else. Â But know that if you go to Ringo's, you'll have fun, your beer will stay full, and your ego will stay in tact.
If Ringo's were in Richardson, where there are no actual pubs, i'd give it more stars... but one is a few miles from much much better. My complaint lies largely with the food. I could live off pub grub. I've tried. I love it. But a $1.99 up-charge for maybe the worst, most bland onion rings i've ever had is irritating. I've had the Fillmore's onion rings. i know good onion rings. I had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. sure, it filled me up, but i'd have loved a little flavor to go with it. horrible. just horrible. A buddy had the Ringo's burger - brat sliced and put on the burger, with white queso and an afore mentioned horrible onion ring. he said it was fine. And another buddy had the beefeater, which was also "just fine."
So keep driving, Plano... go SE to the Fillmore or Vickery Park, or a little further north to the Irish Rover, or a little NE to the Holy Grail... but keep driving. Unless you want to sit on a patio park bench and sip a pint. then it's fine. Â But sorry Ringo's, just like the Beatles, you are the lesser of the N. Dallas pubs (rim shot!).
I was about to write a review about this place, but Jon B. beat me to it. http://www.yelp.com/user…
Our service started out decent, but quickly deteriorated to the point we had to search out our server. Â Our group of 40 +/- contacted this place days before to make sure we would/could be accommodated in regards to a watching party for an FC Dallas (away) game, to include having audio of the game heard. Â We were assured that we would have sound, but the juke box being played by a minority of patrons was apparently more important. Â
As I said, the service rapidly deteriorated and at half time, a number of our group left very dissatisfied. Â
As the second half started, we asked for our check and it took about 20 minutes to receive, at which point we watched the rest of the game... still with juke box blaring. Â On that note, half the time, with the music was loud, it was hardly listenable, as the crowd was even louder.
Listen Ringo's, if you're going to promise something, deliver. Â That is a note on your next watching party you host. Â Those people are going to be paying good hard money, and the game won't be all night - turn the music on as half-time, end of quarter, etc. Â
I say those people, because we will not return - watching party or no.
You get 1 star, only because Yelp won't let me leave 0 stars.
Customer service was terrible. A group of around 45 people went to Ringo's to watch the FC Dallas at San Jose MLS game. We had been promised ahead of time that we would have sound for the game, and were all planning on eating and drinking plenty of beer.
Needless to say, we did not get the sound we were promised, and the manager was very abrasive with us when this was brought up, saying that no such promise had been made (even though we had it in writing). The fact that out group comprised 3/4s of the clientele at the very least seemed to go right over his head.
Waitress service was also bad. Two people in our group were left waiting more than 20 minutes for their Dr Pepper, and our table of 5's food was delivered within a 15 minute window, rather than all together, even though it had all been ordered at the same time. I did not receive bacon on my cheese fries, and was ignored by the waitresses until I was to the point that I just didn't want it anymore. My wife asked for her leftovers to be boxed up - it still hadn't been done 20-25 minutes later when we wanted to leave.
A 20 year-old friend was not allowed in to watch the game with his dad, even though there were already a group of ~13 year olds in the pub with their parents. Â The manager again ignored our complaints.
To top it all off, the manager actually had the audacity to complain to us that people in our group were leaving scathing reviews on Twitter and Facebook about the lack of service, and that we weren't leaving good tips for the waitresses. Â The guy clearly does not understand how the business-customer relationship works - provide good service and you will get good tips and reviews; provide lousy service and the tips and reviews will also reflect that.
If you want a good British pub experience, Ringo's isn't it. Â Instead, take a drive a couple of exits up the tollway to Main St in Frisco and go to Lochrann's or the Londoner. Â They at least know how to treat their paying customers and listen to and attempt to correct any issues that those customers are having.
This evening was my second visit to Ringo's for happy hour with some co-workers. Â The first time was for a quick lunch with co-workers. Â Unfortunately, both visits were less than stellar. Â
Ringo's has a great selection of beers and a decent variety of wines too for the non-beer drinkers. Â The food is typical bar food and leaves one wanting more. Â The waitresses are dressed in short cute plaid skirts and are very attentive to making sure my beverage was full. Â
The big downside to Ringo's is the overwhelming stench in the place, it smells like the sewage system has backed up, which doesn't make a very welcoming atmosphere to stay and linger for very long. Â There is a patio outside that you can escape to, when the heat won't have you melting away.
The place is in a convenient location to my work, but if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be going out of my way to stop by Ringo's.
I work near the Shops of Legacy and I go to Ringo's for lunch because it's an easy walk, the food is good and prices affordable. Â The bartender usually sees me coming through the windows and meets me at my usual table with my customary drink order. Â You have to love that kind of service.
Monday's lunch special is half price fish and chips. While this is a great entrée it is annoyingly served on paper (as if you were buying it at a London pub). I prefer it without the paper and the bartender always remembers to deliver it sans annoyance. The burgers and sandwiches are also good. Â
I've never been after work or even after dark. I'm sure the food is just as good but I have no insight as to the regular clientèle. Â
Overall, I would give Ringo's a big thumbs up. Â It's more than just a bar but I wouldn't take out-of-towner's there for dinner.
I'm very happy to see some laid back bars open up at the Shops at Legacy. Cougar central made other spots at the Shops uninhabitable. (wait a second...I like cougars...scratch that comment) Ok, douchebag central, not cougar central. Better.
The things truly missing from the Shops were laid back bars. With the opening of Gordon B's, Gingerman, and Ringo's, it's finally able to capture some of the laid back crowd back from having to drive all the way downtown.
Ringo's has been open for less than a year. A British pub, it sports beers from overseas like Guinness, Smithwicks, Bass, Boddingtons, Carlsberg, Stella, among many others. It's beer selection doesn't quite rival that of The Londoner - but it works well enough for me. It also has an excellent bottle selection.
The food menu has the fairly typical pub selection of food, but is surprisingly good. I really do think pubs like Ringo's and Gingerman have strived to actually make an edible menu, sober or not. Not for those watching their weight, but you wouldn't be coming here if you were.
Patio area is somewhat typical Plano drab - a few benches and umbrellas to keep the sun off. Patio is somewhat small but it's meant to occupy what little space there is that's available.
The inside bar area is fairly small - again, a limitation of being in the Shops in Plano. A weekday night isn't a problem, but a Friday/Saturday night gets crowded and hard to move around.
One fun perk good in groups or for a date if you so happened to take one there is the board games - they have a small selection of games from Jenga, Connect Four, etc to pass the time while you enjoy a brew.
Great laid back bar...good for off-peak hours when you just want to have a nice beer.
Ringo's Pub feels exactly like a bar or pub, in spite of these establishments being (I think) illegal in Plano. This place has worked itself into our regular happy hour rotation. It does not hurt that I can actually SEE Ringo's from my office window - proximity definitely helps!
The waitresses here are all extremely nice and seem like cool girls. I like that they actually show European sports on the TVs, and play good music. The live music they have at times is outdoors, which is nice for those who do not want to scream over the guy with the guitar.
Food is pretty good - not as good as, say, Old Monk, but good - and they are accommodating to vegetarians (I have had a couple of items on the menu modified for my veggie tastes).
Overall - a fine place to get drunk after hours with work friends, and also a decent place for a midday coworker lunch.
i actually have been here a couple of times.
Every time i was there, it was kind of empty and quiet. However I just sat at the bar and the wait staff usually were pretty good. They actually chatted with you really naturally, suggesting different kinds of beer. They do have some unusual stuff here, Belgium, British, Canadian......Not a big pub, which could give it a cozy feeling. it is really like a neighborhood bar in Europe, WITHOUT the smoke, thank GOD :-)
The food is typical bar style, however for a hungry stomach, it works pretty well, i would come again
[ disclaimer] Â i don't work for Yelp. The easiest way to distinguish people who works for them is to see if they write a review every day :-)
In the midst of plastic Plano and the Shops that are typically defined as cougar haven, Ringo's is a welcomed change with a sporty laid-back atmosphere and chill patrons. I didn't see one set of fake boobies the whole night! That's like a record. Like, totally.
The bartenders were super welcoming and really efficient. I couldn't decide on what beer to have, so they let me taste a few things on tap before I made my decision. Not once did my glass go empty! And that my friends is a good AND bad thing.
I didn't try the food, but it looked like typical pub fare. The only upset to the entire visit was a waitress who ran behind the bar and grunted with disgust about a particular customer -- not exactly something I want to hear, although I did giggle a little at her behavior.
Sucks that this place is all the way up in Plano or I would come here more often. I guess it's good to know now though that there's a decent place to have a drink up there.
Ringo's is an interesting place. We went on a Friday night and it was packed. Ringo's tries hard to be a British pub. It's got the essential pub decorations that you'd expect to see, including the British phone booth. Plus it's got 6 TVs, all tuned to sports. Ringo's isn't very big and seating is hard to come by.
Intimate conversations aren't possible and don't be surprised if the people beside you end up sitting really close to you. Pleased-to-meet-you kinda close.
Service was excellent. Our waitress was on the run all night and she never missed a beat. They have a decent beer selection. It's nothing like the Saucer but we managed to knock back a few pints. We ordered chips and queso (Wife's fav appetizer) and it was so-so. We also had the fish and chips. Different story all together. They were outstanding!!!
Ringo's is great for people watching. It's a real mixed bag. Lots of twenty somethings. There were some thirty somethings thrown in here and there as well.
So why 3 stars and not 4? I guess just cause it's so small and was so packed. Plus the bathroom is small, really small. Not a place to go if you're gun shy. Know what I mean?
My second trip to Ringo's was spontaneous, walked past on Sunday night and saw the "Happy Hour" sign, so decided to give it a try.
Entered and the place was pretty empty, had a strong smell of disinfectant, and we had to change seats twice to find one that wasn't being blasted by a typhoon of cold air.
Great selection of beers, mixed drinks were good.
Food was just so-so. My wife's fish and chips were still very cold in the middle, and my black-bean nachos didn't seem to have any black beans, oddly enough.
When we got the bill, full price for the drinks. Asked the waitress why we weren't getting happy hour prices, she said happy hour is M-F only dude.
Pointed out that the chalkboard outside said otherwise, and she said "whoops, we'll go take that down." No offer to fix the tab.
Okay, uncomfortable environmental factors, clueless waitstaff, misleading advertising, mediocre food. I can find the great beer selection elsewhere, so that's probably what I'll be doing.
Sorry Ringo, you really need to try harder.
Ringo's Pub rocks! The bartenders (Danae, Selina, Blair, Max, and Melanie) are dope! The cocktails are doper (Rai, Ray, Jess, Liz, Sarah, Holly)! The crowd is a mixed bag of young and older, but no Affliction beefcakes or Ed Hardy douchebags (go to Zen Austin Ranch for that), though there is an occasional siting! The pub is tucked away in Legacy so not everyone knows about it (stay that way!). The beer selection is good, the food is typical bar food ~ a local "dive" bar with a cool chill vibe! My #1 water hole in Plano!
...Oh and stay out of the VIP section in the corner next to the sound box. That spot is reserved for the MBR crew!
I've been to Ringo's twice now. It's definitely different from your typical Shops of Legacy restaurant or bar. The kitchen wasn't open yet, so I can't comment on the food. However, the reason to go there is the beer. Sure, you can still order Bud Light or Miller Lite if you really want to, but with such great beers as Young's Double Chocolate Stout or Samuel Smith's Organic Lager available, why would you?
The atmosphere at Ringo's is very British Pub-esque. The owners say Ringo's is a "Talking Bar", so the music is kept rather low. You can actually hear what your friends are saying without yelling.
Another plus is that there is no smoking allowed inside the pub. So, if you are only stopping in for 1 or 2 beers after work, you can actually leave there without smelling like an ash tray.
The Shop at Legacy has been a favorite of mine for awhile; great restaurants, good places to grab a cocktail and the whole area has a great feel to it. Â However, the area has been lacking a bar...just a bar! Â A place to grab a beer and some pub grub. Â Well Ringo's Pub turns out to be just that. Â
It can be hard to find since it is on the back side of the shops behind Robb & Stucky's, but that gave it more of a neighborhood bar feel. Â From the front entrance, the patio and the inside, it is all very welcoming with street lamps on the patio and a traditional swinging pub sign above the door. Â The inside is decked out with small pub tables, a dark wood bar, dart board and jukebox. Â
The crowd is younger and friendlier than your typical cougar filled north Plano watering hole. Â It is a fun and friendly atmosphere with good service.
The food menu looked pretty decent but we were there for the drinks and they have a great beer selection. Â You can get your cold and domestics here but they have great beers from around the world. Â We'll definitely be back.
