  This place is the EPITOME of Houston.  Located in good ol' stinkadena.  The club is split into a country section which is like 4/5 of the building and a rap section.  Drinks are cheap early in the night.  Their sound system is awful.

  Dive dive dive
  
  The "club" allows you to get your dance on; country on one side and club mix on the other. When on the country side, expect a small set of non-country, like hip hop, rock, pop and a good line dance or two.
  
  Decent selection of bottled beer and drinks, with nightly specials.
  
  $5 cover on weekend, not sure about other nights.

  Every once in a while, me and the husband like to go out when we have a night to ourselves. We don't get out much but when we do we like to kick back, have a few drinks and enjoy each others' company.
  This is what comes up:
  1.) don't want to drive far
  2.) want to get our drink on
  3.) don't want to spend a lot of $$
  So there is a place to go that takes care of those needs. Now, I'm not saying Rockin Rodeo is hip (formerly 'Bayou City Nights'). You probably won't meet the man/woman of your dreams here..Well, you might..drinks are cheap..So..ya never..nevermind..
  Rockin Rodeo ..The music is loud, the drinks are strong and they have specials.. Your friends will look at you funny if you suggest coming here. It's a big 'ol tacky dive club. And I like it.
