Roscoe Brady Billiards

Five stars for pool players!  This place is HUGE, with more tables - 8' and 9' - than you can shake a stick at (no pun intended... I swear).  The owner, Jeff, mans the place, and he really keeps it classy-casual.  Tables are a more than reasonable $8/hr., and you'll like them. Soft tip players have a few boards to play on, and a couple of other games are available as well.  For  sports fans, there's a widescreen in the corner to keep your eye on.  The mixed drinks aren't anything to write home about, but they're super-cheap (if you're willing to trade one for the other, you'll be happy).  He has some decent beers available (which I'll be sticking to from here on out), and a short but good menu of eats.  (He made us the freshest and best veggie & hummus plate I've ever had... yes, at a pool hall in Snohomish!).  Jeff picks some great music and plays it at a level that allows you to enjoy it *and* your conversation... and of course, you have the throne chairs mentioned by the other reviewer. (Come on... that's just cool. :) )

Leagues are in a couple of nights a week - I was told Tuesdays and Thursdays, I believe.  We've been there on three Sundays, and the place has been wide open. (I like it that way. :) )

Great atmosphere, excellent management/service, dedicated to people who love the game.  Well played.

I've been to Rosce Brady's twice now and I can't wait to see how this place develops.
Good price on drinks, really friendly service from the owner, and great rates on pool tables. (Plus these really awesome chairs that are more like thrones.)
It's a really relaxed place that has a bit less drunken dumbness than the other First St. bars
