Rose's Sugar Shack Cafe

Great basic coffee shop, omelette, hash browns, cinnamon roll, biscuit & gravy all great, and price good too.  Also, interesting way Greek food is incorporated into traditional coffee shop items. A basic small coffee shop does not get better than this!

Took a spontaneous drive up to San Clemente from San Diego & picked the first cafe that came up. The Sugar Shack was lovely and comfortable. Nothing out of the ordinary for a "beach-side" cafe. Typical, although nice. Ordered the "C-Dragon" and the "Surfrider".  The service was good, our food was nice, and our waitress was sweet.

They close at 2:30 but serve breakfast all the while which is great. It was a darling place to stop.

Nice people and good customer service, but totally overpriced. If a diner is going to charge that much for an omelette/scrambler it better be spectacular with a large portion. It was neither.
