Husband and I dined here last night for the time. There were only a few diners in the restaurant and I think I know why-- the food. The décor and cleanliness of the place was great, but the food was horrible. We didn't like our appetizer or either of our entrees. My husband actually said "this is probably one of the worst meals we've ever had." The menu looks so good with the options to choose from but the actual food is such a miss. We love to support local, but unfortunately won't be returning.
Review Source:Dinner last night was excellent from beginning to end. Â Enjoyed being (quickly) seated in a dining area that was quieter and tv-less (the bar area behind was also an option) - clean as a whistle and sleekly decorated with some cool local graphics on display. Â Our server was friendly, attentive, and fun. Â The menu has lots of choices from burgers, sandwiches, and salads to more substantial entrees. Â Local brews are on tap and the cocktail menu is extensive. Â We were worried about prices since they weren't listed but they ended up being reasonable for high-quality drinks (~$8). Â My dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was simply perfect; DH's vodka/Canton/cucumber concoction was divine. Â DH liked the special - steak, ordered with green beans and sweet potato fries. Â The side salad I ordered was large enough to share, with fresh field greens and sunflower seeds sprinkled on top for extra crunchiness and savor. Â My shrimp and grits entree was one of the better versions I've had - 6ish medium-large tender and tasty shrimp and creamy, cheesy grits topped with abundant, melt-in-your-mouth bacon pieces. Â Serving was large enough for leftovers lunch. Â Too full for dessert; will try to save room next time. Â Great service was topped off by a promptly delivered and returned check (why does that happen so rarely dining out?). Â Really a great little find; unexpected personality that we found quite lovely!
Review Source:I like that they created a sports bar in this area. Â I use to come to O!O's ocassionally but am happy it changed over and has cheaper food and drink options than before. Â They cut the ole circle bar in half which really takes away from the look but I get what they were trying to do with sperating the bar and sit down areas. Â I've never seen anyone getting dinner here but have tried the buffalo egg rolls at the bar which did not disapoint.
I like that they sell 24oz beers of everything on tap and have a lot of TVs. Â My drinks took a while to get served and I was sitting at the bar so that's not good but I noticed a lot of people around us complaining to the manager about waittimes on food so hopefully they can get the staff trained up quickly. Â I'd recommend stopping by if you are in the area but wouldn't make a special trip for it.
