This is probably my favorite smokey, old man bar after Lilian's.
Chill, unpretentious with good drink specials and friendly bartenders that know how to pour.
They have awesome trivia night that's not too hip or obscure as the other ones around town tend to be.
The food is consistently phenomenal. Their burgers are a must try. Seriously, this isn't bar food; its some dank gourmet stuff. Their alligator and spicy shrimp appetizers are pretty on par too.
I like this bar because it attracts all ages and all crowds. Definitely worth a visit.
Loosey's is so incredibly small compared to its predecessor, Market Street Pub! Hopefully that gives it a little more charm and makes it a bit more of a neighborhood hangout, but it certainly crippled it as a venue in my eyes. The stage sits on a level about 3-4 ft below the main bar area so views are hard to come by. The bar is an L shape with not a terrible amount of seating, but enough. There is also a little room filled with 3-4 pinball machines that seem to be pretty popular. I'm not sure what kind of club this is on your average night, so its mission could make it better or worse.
