Ruby Tuesday

This is the first time I have visited this location but it's one of three that are close to my business so it was a pretty random choice. I decided that I wanted to sit down during lunch and had a Free Burger coupon so what the heck!

The Turkey burger is a menu item I have had several times at other locations so I pretty much knew what was coming. This item was made much better some time ago when they switched out the nasty whole wheat roll for the Kaiser type roll. Anyway, back to this visit.

Right away I was impressed with how clean and organized this location seemed. It's not that any of the Ruby Tuesday locations are nasty but this one just seemed cleaner. I was greeted and seated pretty quickly and the server was at my table in only a few seconds. I ordered a Sweet tea and headed to the mens room to wash up. That was very clean as well.

All I had was the Turkey Burger with fries so cannot comment on the salad bar although it looked very nice. The burger arrived hot off the grill and was the best one I have had at any location. I was amazed at how a standard menu item could be so much better at one location over the others. The fries were also hot and piled high. There were probably 30% more on the plate than I get at the Harbor view location.

It does not take long to eat a burger and  fries but my server came by at least 4 times to see how I liked the food. I was very pleased with the service and food so my tip and comments on leaving to the manger were very positive. The server even gave me a "to go" cup of sweet tea for my last refill.

I will be back to this location for lunch when I can.

Solid place to get a good meal. Service is a little slow but the food is good.

This Ruby Tuesday is right off of Hampton Roads Center Parkway in Hampton.  

The salad bar is pretty awesome.  One of the best salad bars outside of the awesomeness that is the Harris Teeter salad bar.  Ruby Tuesday does them one better though with the dark rye bread croutons.  

On this visit I ordered the burger minis with the salad bar.   Not very crowded for 11:30AM so I was pleased.  Service was good and food was good - we sat, we ordered and were out of the restaurant in about 45 minutes, maybe less.  A pretty good experience if I say so myself.
