Sahara Hookah Lounge

This place a A LOT of potential. They just need to train their staff a little better. We got two hookahs that didn't work (the coals weren't lit) and it took forever to get them fixed. The staff seemed to be too busy hanging out at their table.  It got to the point where we paid and left.  I doubt I will return here....so much hassle.

One of my favorite hookah bars in the area. If you were turned off by Luxor or the hookah bar in Collegeville (also owned by Luxor), you will most likely love Sahara.  The booths are comfy and if you feel daring enough, you can sit in the sand! The hookah quality is the best I've seen outside of the hookah bars I went to in Morocco. They stay on top of the coals and you rarely have to ask for new ones. They usually blow the ash out of the bowl when they change coals, which is pretty unusual for hookah bars and makes the quality that much better. The selection of tobacco is amazing and you can get a fresh fruit bowl in place of the standard clay bowls. There is a DJ Friday and Saturday nights, so if you don't want loud music and a $5 dollar cover charge, don't go those nights. There is a pretty big space for dancing and since the DJ is a dance instructor, he's always trying to get people out of their seats. Open mic night is Sunday and they definitly need more performers to start coming out. There's not always a lot of people there because they're new, but I think this place has a lot of potential.
