This is like a bad townie bar in the dowtown Dells. Â We went there to watch some NCAA tourney games. Â Walked in and it wasn't too busy - maybe 10 people. Â They had the games on, but no sound. Â They did, however, have a juke box and someone had selected some clubby trans music that was blairing and super annoying. Â So loud and so bad that we couldn't take it and went to another bar. Â I can tolerate a lot of music, but not club music in a "sports" bar while people are trying to watch a game or play darts.
I did give them 2 stars because they have do have beer and that is a good thing.
Great place! Stopped in for a late lunch and drinks after a weekend in the Dells and so happy we stumbled upon it! The owner was beyond friendly! We had 3 children with us and they loved the pool table and video games. The bloody marys are house made and delicious! Lots of good beers on tap also. Â We will definitely visit again next time we're up in the area!
Review Source:After a lot of failed attempts of finding food and liquor during the off-season at the Dells we head here. First glance it seems like a little hole in the wall. Turns out, couldn't have had a better time! The bartender was amazing! Joking around with us, playing good music, checking out you tube videos with us. The place was pretty dead so we got all the attention.
The food was a lot better than expected. The cheese curds, although it was $8 for a small portion were freaking fantastic! Cheese fries were yummers, grilled cheese was tasty. the belly buster burger was huge and filling. The only thing that was lacking was the pizza. Drinks were cheap. They have Spotted Cow on tap. $4 horchata shots, $1 blackberry whiskey shots. Between 5 of us, lots of food, tons of shots and glass after glass of spotted cow, our bill was only around $130.
Will return when we are back in the Dells!
