Showboat Saloon

We just stumbled on the place during a late autumn visit to WI Dells. What a terrific find!! Friendly bartender. Free peanuts. And, contrary to what someone else reported, they have a great selection of beer, including several micros.

It's a cozy atmosphere but with pretty decent music on a weekend, our group had a really good time. They've got hoppin music, billiards, random archade-y games, places to sit outside, and very nice bartenders. :) Apparently this is the place where a lot of bachelorette parties happen (but that didn't happen when we were there). Lol I think with the right crowd I'd come back again.

GREAT people watching. I came here late after a wedding reception so my memory isn't the most detailed but I do remember having a good time. Drinks were cheap (I think?) and the place is pretty roomy. 5 stars for the staff as they very quickly stopped a drunk patron from exposing himself as he attempted to urinate on the railing right outside the entrance.
