I enjoy their calzones and I think that's really about it. The pizza is ok but nothing to brag about and over priced for what it is. I used to love their wings because they used buffa louie's sauces but the last few times we've ordered wings they have tasted very overcooked and the sauce tastes salty. The last time we dined in I ordered the hot garlic wings and I got the sesame or Asian something. I normally am ok and just go with the flow if I like it but they were so salty I couldn't eat them so I told the waiter I got the wrong sauce and asked if I could have them redone. He was polite and took them back then returned with the same wing order about 15 mins later. I knew these were the same because I could still see the sesame seeds from the Asian sauce all over them and they were cold, they had simply poured some of the garlic sauce over them. How kind. Upon leaving my sister left a note on the untouched wings implying we were leaving them so they could top them off with yet another sauce for their next customer. I give them a 3 though only because before that we always had good service and we have occasionally ordered calzones again since they are the only place in the area that does them right.
Review Source:I to don't care much for their pizza but I have to say their wings are probably the best I have ever had. Big monster wings and Juicy. I get medium but they have all kinds of sauces. On Tuesday it's 45cent wings. Great price for the wings. You should call wings in advance as you will wait 25 minutes if you don't. Â That's all I get from here. Enjoy!
Review Source:In my 40+ years if life I have never witnessed ANYTHING like this ! While on an overnight stop over in Portage, IN Â I called for a pizza delivery paid $16.00 for a FROZEN PIZZA! If you have ever made a frozen pizza you know 1 when you see 1. It was the worst EVER ! Avoid at all cost!
Review Source:We starting coming here when we discovered they bought out Buffa Louie's. Â They have added Buffa Louie's menu items onto their own. Â So now, I can still get my tasty "volcanic" wings before we go to the Portage High football game. Â :)
So, needless to say, the menu is quite large. Â There's a lot to choose from whether it's wings, pizza, salads, or sandwiches. Â They do the food well, but you do tend to wait a bit for it. Â It also isn't the cleanest joint around...there's a certain odor hanging in the air all the time. Â Too much grease over the years, I think. Â The service and cleanliness is why I give it 3. Â
But, I'll still be going back for my pre-football food! Â :)
