    I think I can I think I can I think I can.....
Santino's is proving to be the little engine that could....
I had dinner with a friend after some golf lessons, so I finally got to actually eat here...
It was a beautiful night, and both garage type doors that flank either side of the restaurant were open, and there was an aweseome cross breeze...just what this Michigander, just coming out of a cold crummy winter needed...it was very nice.
Service was good, our waitress was attentive, and for a Monday she was running her rear off (WINGS GAME!) I also had a check in offer for Yelp that technically wasn't valid for the time we were at the restaurant, but the manager honored it anyway....that was good...it was onlly 10% off, so kudos for doing the right thing :-)  My friend said his Chicken Caesar wrap was good, and as was my salad....  I still do not get why for $11 my salad bowl is not over-floweth with lettuce, but I'm starting to accept the trend...  Santino's is a tad pricy...I'd go back, it wouldn't be my first choice, but I wouldn't turn it down either.

I honestly don't even know where to start. Probably the management: The owner has no idea how to run a bar and treats it as his own little playground, while acting like everyone else giving him money is bothering him. The owner yells at staff in front of the patrons, making customers feel very uncomfortable. He and the general managers do not know how to solve problems and are very confrontational with guests and employees. The music in the bar/dining area is obnoxiously loud which makes it literally impossible enjoy conversation and it urges inappropriate dancing in an area where dancing should not be permitted, seeing as there is a subpar nightclub on the other side of the bar. When asked to turn it down, the managers say they can't do anything about the noise. The food is overpriced. The drinks are overpriced.

They don't value their customers and don't value their employees. I urge everyone to NEVER give this place your business because, frankly, they don't deserve it. The treatment that you will receive from upper management and the owner is absolutely atrocious.

Like earlier reviews have said, this is an establishment suffering from an identity crisis. It's whole aura is desperate to hip and trendy, but the only problem is that it's tucked into the homely upscale suburbs of Washington Twp. not exactly a hip town. It's a messy pastiche of a sports bar and grill, martini bar, club, and dare I even say regular restaurant? The security with the ear pieces is just downright obnoxious, and the owner walking around giving people the stink eye doesn't help either. You get the distinct impression that you're in "his bar", something that is a big turn off for me. I had a Cuban sandwich (That was just ok) and one beer before we left and finished the night somewhere more enjoyable.

Our charity held a charity gambling event at Santino's recently. The owner, totally unprovoked, was downright nasty, yelling and dropping F bombs at our volunteers.  We won't be going back. Would rate this one with ZERO stars, but apparently not an option here.  Sorry to the staff at this establishment--you sure tried.  Your boss is awful.

Okay, so we finally tried it. It wasn't that bad. Went on a Monday afternoon, which wasn't busy at all. Sat down at the table so we could look out side. The walls are large doors that lift up when it's nice out. Well, it's been around 100 degrees for the past week and after one beer I was starting to sweat! The view is either the road on one side of the bar or the parking lot and aprtments on the other, not very appealing. We ordered an appetizer of nachos. They weren't bad. Again, it was like 100 out and I was totally turned off to food! The place is nicely decorated and staff was nice.....ps-the bathrooms were clean which was a plus!  Would be a great place if it were only on the water. Looking down at vandyke and watching the dusty vehicles pass me buy while I eat and drink on a scorching hot day is not ideal.

Heard they dump well vodka in their premium bottles and sell it. If you are ordering a drink, make sure it tastes exactly like what you ordered, chances are you orders grey goose and they gave you burnetts

Not a bad place to grab a bite and a beer. The bbq pizza was pretty good, it wasn't bad as a cold leftover either. My only real complaint would be that I couldn't escape the blinding sun light. The bar area is flanked by big glass bay doors, allowing tons of sun in. I'll be back to check out the martini bar, it looked really nice in there, and they have live entertainment.

First impressions tell you it's just a sports bar. Yet, when you drop $5  and walk into another room - it's a club. In the club section, the DJ spins shitty dance for the 40 and up cougars and you spend $8 for cocktails. In another area stuffed away near the restroom, there is a room with nothing more than a jukebox and couches - no bar, no service.

The menu is a mix of everything you would expect from a bar. Pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. The chicken sandwich I had was good, a generous portion.

Also, they have garage door-like windows which, when opened in the summer, make for a better atmosphere.

Good for lunches and sporting events.

We went here because it was really close to a friend's house and they wanted to try it out.  Before we went i found some terrible reviews online, but none on yelp, so my expectations were low.

The interior itself is pretty nice.  You can tell they spent a lot of money.  However, it's unclear what this place is trying to be.  For example, there is a martini lounge area, but we couldn't get in because i was wearing flip flops.  Apparently if you're a dude you can't wear flip flops and you have to wear a collared shirt.  A little odd for 27 and van dyke.

The main room is more of a sports bar, albeit one with expensive decor.   Waitresses are dressed slightly more modestly than hooters girls.  They have lots of TVs.  Bouncers wear ear pieces like they are working a high end club.  There is valet parking.  I dunno.  Nothing felt very cohesive.

I had cajun mac n cheese.  It was decent.  Salads were ok.  Some friends got a pizza, said it was so-so.  Nothing was terrible, but nothing was that good either.

I'll probably never go back.  I don't recommend it unless any of this sounds like it's your kind of thing.
