Sapphire Lounge

Decent stop over in downtown Bonita. Got to see USA soccer game replay with only 4 other people in bar around 3:30.  They ran out of Newcastle.  Ordered chicken wings and they were fair - not much meat and were barely warm.  Save your money if you plan to order these. Might be good place when need place near home and with a group of friends. By the time I left several regulars seemed to be trickling in.

Heed the reviews of others, while the food here is fine, good even, they dont have half of what's on their bar menu. Also fine to not serve everything under the sun, it's just awkward when you don't have the first, second, or third thing ordered. Revise your menus, put the bartenders on a diet and cut them off the bleach, this is Bonita not Santee FYI watch my review get "filtered".

i like the actual bar.  but if an idiot runs it the bar sucks.  first the obnoxious bar tender told us we could get 1 drink with 45 minutes left before close.  nobody was there.  nobody is ever here except on a weekend.  cause you don't go here if you have a brain.  this ugly blonde bartender wearing clothes that did her no favors charged us 7.50 for sculpin. this is bonita, not freakin new york, who charges 7.50 for a beer?  only an a hole owner, and these are the new owners.  we walked into the bar and met by the rude bartender and jerk new owner.  its a shame cause i like the decor, and the porch is nice to sit on, have a smoke and enjoy a beer thats as expensive as petco park or chargers stadium.  i'm sorry but thats too much.  who do you people think you are?

i went in for breakfast on a sunday, got a bloody mary and an omlette.  the bloody was horrible, no pepper or hot sauce, just mix and a tiny bit of vodka.  cheap people do not want to make the customer happy at all.  on to the omlette.  

the omlette was horrible!  it had no taste, i'm wondering how they could cook all the taste out of the omlette.  at least it wasn't like 20$ and way over priced like their beer.  

oh and i wanted a booze and coke drink but they were out of JD.  sorry what bar runs out of the most common booze ever?  a crappy bar that must hate its clients.  honestly i've never been treated so rude, looked at so mean and overcharged so much, this place honestly couldn't suck any worse, even the tv was all pixeled out and broken in the back.  super lame.  there are other places intown to get a drink.  

dear owners, you don't mix sports bar and hookah lounge.  are you stupid?  you must be really stupid.  its like having a liberal gun range.  you go with the hookah lounge and book bands accordingly.  this place has potential but you ruined it with your velvet rope for nobody, horrible food, insultive staff, overpriced beer. this places stinks!
