It is really hard to find good bar food that does not originate from a box. I just want good food, that someone put their time into, and this place nailed it. They actually had the best prime rib that I had ever had, seriously, I don't really know what it was about it, but it was awesome; Â their red potato's with garlic butter were absolutely fantastic too...
The salad was ok, it needs something though, something to make it different than everyone else.
I actually met the owners while eating breakfast in Tacoma, and so I told them that I'd try their place, and I'm so glad that we did.
Unless you're a local, you may not know where this is, but if you want to get away, and have a laid back place to relax, and eat really good food, then this is the place to go!
I CAN'T wait to go back and try their peanut butter burger, the secret ingredient to White castle burgers is actually peanut butter, and so I'm sure their peanut butter burger is awesome.
Hubby ate the parrott burger, and he really liked it.
I also tried fireball whiskey, and that stuff was incredible! Â
We will return for sure, hope to catch up with the owners, and chat again soon.
The food was terrific and the service was friendly but a little slow. Â My husband and I split the PBB and the Albert Special. Â Tons of food!
We will definitely be going back to check out the skeeball league they have!!! Â They also have dart boards, pool tables, and best of all - a shuffle board table!!!
Seems like a good place. People there were friendly. "Only been there once" so hard to judge. The Bartender could be more attentive to customers. Did not try any of their foods but drinks are normally priced for this type of establishment.
They got two dart tables, two pool tables and two skeetball. I guess they have dancing on weekends. Will have to go on a weekend and check it out.
This place was pretty fun. Â There was live music. Â Like the previous poster said, they play mostly rock so if you're looking for a hip hop scene, this place probably wouldn't fit the bill. Â If you're looking for good music and an eclectic crowd, come to this place.
One thing that I thought was pretty neat was they had skee ball (tournaments on Thursdays), LOL, talk about blast from the past. The place is a pretty okay size, there are big screens playing sports in the far back room, in the right room there is the skee ball, pool, and a second bar. Â Parking seems plentiful and safe. Â The main area right by the entrance is the dance floor, sort of weird for aesthetics because it's a little clustered right at the front entrance but that's really the only bad thing I can think of.
I did not try the food but it sure did smell good. Â
Anyway, it's a cool environment and worth checking out.
Went here to meet up with some friends. Â Had No idea that there was even a bar in this area. Â Come to find out it was originally a cafe called Kerbys. Â Anyways I had a lot of fun here. Â I didn't get to try any of the food, but everything I saw looked real good. Â The drinks were good, the bar tender was very good. Â
The music was the norm, but it was fun. Â The DJ played a lot of rock, which was a lot better then half the bars I've ever been to. Â So not a big hip hop or techno scene. Â I would recommend if you don't like rock, wait till way later and the DJ will play more old school hip hop, you know 69 boyz Tootsie Roll, that kind of music. Â They have a dance floor which is a good size. Â
So if your near this area I would go check it out.
