Second Wind

Love this place! Every time I go, the music has been kick-ass awesome. The bartenders are great and the people are always fun and friendly.

Hubby and I have been going there for more than a decade now.  Pluses:  close to home, nice strong drinks, and some of San Diego's best cover bands with NO COVER CHARGE, including Serious Guise, 6one9, Monsters of Rock and others.  It is an older crowd, so if you're immature it may not be your cuppa Boones Farm, (or whatever cheap booze the kids are drinking these days...LOL)

Ok, it's a dive bar. Staff is friendly enough and the bands, well, the drinks are strong! It's close by and I end up there often enough to call it my watering hole.
