I joined some friends here during the Parker Wine Walk where the pours were heavy and bottles were plentiful.

Think loud bar atmosphere with some very solid drink specials.  After a working with a friend for most of the day I was famished and didn't actually order anything but instead devoured the fries off anothers burger platter.  He was kind and let me keep eating.  The burger looked decent.

I would come back and give this place another try.  They were playing some great music that made me want to get up and dance.

The name changed earlier this Summer to Peak Underground.  I came here during the Parker Wine Walk on August 31st.  I found it hard to leave.  I definitely enjoy sampling wine.  Peak Underground was opportunistically piggy-backing on the wine walk (just like they did last month).  You could come down into the bar and have unlimited wine samples (no ticket needed).  This was very clever of them.  Many people stayed and ordered drinks and food, and I am sure many of them (like me) will be back.

They are only open Wed thru Sat late afternoon to midnight (I believe, feel free to correct me).  Other nights, they are closed to the public and do private events.  They offer a happy hour from 4pm to 6pm with several specials.  However, it is "Parker Hour' from 6pm to 7pm that really shines.  During Parker Hour, they offer $2 "you call it" on drinks!  So, you can really go to town on Guinness, Stella, or other beers, or choose to enjoy wine or mixed drinks.  I personally enjoyed tall, ice-cold, Shocktops (with orange slices) for $2.  As for food, I tried to order the Pozole, but they were out, bummer.  So, I went with a bowl of the pork green chile.  It was a solid B.  It has some heat and decent flavor.

This venue is huge, and offers something for everyone.  There is a stage and dance floor off to one end, there is a lounging area near the middle, and much of the place is like a large sports bar.

This place is a hidden treasure.   I stopped in last night per a co-workers recommendation for live music in Parker.  As we got out of the car, I could hear classic rock coming from the basement.  Being a very young 50 something, I felt like I was coming home.  Walked in and there were a couple pool tables and a couple dart boards.  I'm thinking home away from home at this point.  Then we went to where the music was coming from and there was a dance floor and lots of tables.  The band was absolutely amazing and the gal that was singing needs to try out for American Idol.  She caressed me with her vocal renditions of classic rock songs by Heart, Fleetwood Mac and others.  There weren't many people there and I worry for this place as I write this.  The beers were inexpensive, the band was great, there was a dance floor, a bar with a few TVs, darts and pool tables.  This place needs more people.   Help me get the word out, please check this place out and I bet you'll find a place that you'd like to go to over Tailgate, Clavin's and Takoda.

Please, check it out, tell your friends.  This place actually brings some night life to Parker!

Bottle service in Parker! That's right, perfect place for 40 something and divorced. Find the stairs on the north side of the building with no signs, go down to the basement into the room you will find live music, huge dance floor, TVs, poker, pool, video games, darts, and giant jenga like the ones at 1up in LODO.
