Definitely a dive bar (nothing wrong with that) and they seem to great relationships with their customers.
Their happy hour prices were extremely reasonable. My concern is during football or sports seasons they don't have enough TV's for the masses.
I'll go back for another happy hour and give it a shot (literally)!
A Groupon lured us in, and the service and food will bring us back. Â A cheery hello from the bartender, reminiscent of the TV bar Cheers, welcomed us at the door. Â Jassmeen our bartender/waiter was engaging and provided us great service. Â She recommended the grilled salmon, available cajun or lightly seasoned - both versions were yummy. Â The menu has a few interesting twists on it, unlike cookie-cutter chain restaurants. Â The bar area is raised and separated from the area with booths and tables which would be perfect for a weeknight family meal. Â We enjoyed chatting with Cliff the owner and felt like part of the family when we left. Â
This local neighborhood bar had just a handful of customers on a snowy Wednesday night. Â "Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got. Â
Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot". Â Take Cheers' advice, support a local business and stop in "where everybody knows your name".
