My husband and I have gone to this place a few times. The music is typical, the only hip hop they ever play is at least 10 years old. The drinks are fine not too expensive. But last weekend when we were there some girl literally took off all of her clothes and was climbing the pole. By that time the douchebag dj was taking money to pay the girl to take off her panties and bra. Everyone had stopped dancing and was just standing around watching her almost naked on the pole. It's one thing to go out and know that women will be scantily clad, but it's another thing to be enjoying yourself with your friends and to have to dj start taking bets to pay some girl on the pole to get naked. Pure trash. We would have stayed and bought more drinks but I had to leave. If I wanted to watch that I would have gone to a strip club. It's also pretty sad that this is not a club that caters to women, most legit clubs do everything they can to keep the women patrons happy, because honestly what is a good night out without beautiful women? However, this club is strictly in it to appeal to the skeezy douchebag men. We finished the night at Summit and actually heard some great music and saw clothed women.
Review Source:staff is great from the bartender to the security to the owner. bartenders are great that they will spend the time to talk (if they're not slammed) and even a little bit in between. the security does their job where they protect the bar and just let you be which is to be there to enjoy your night safely. the owner Is fantastic! they were going to have a birthday party on Saturday for one of her employees and asked me to be there and even offered to include me in on the festivities. they made me feel like I was a regular and like I was already one of their own. there was a reason why I went back all the time that I was in their town. it gave me that feeling like in the cheers theme song, "sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your name" yeah that is exactly how that was. if I lived here, I would definitely come to this place regularly. this is definitely a place to go if you're in town or just visiting. just like anywhere else in the world, know your role in any public place and you'll always have a good time. Thank you to all the staff at Seven. you made my trip ere that much more enjoyable. like a home away from home.
Review Source:I rate this place 2 big thumbs DOWN. 0 stars. My friend and I decided to give Seven a visit after a long time of not going (cuz the drinks are horrible) And not long after 30 minutes of being there... Â Mind you, we were sitting down drinking water. NOT drinking cocktails. So the security guy comes up to us and tells us to leave the bar. We didn't know what was going on, and we refused to leave because he wasn't telling us why they were kicking us out.. since we were just sitting down drinking water. He finally told us the Manager/ Owner had told him to kick us out. FOR NO REASON AT ALL. When we stepped out Two people claimed to us that the Owner said to "kick those Mexicans out" We're not even Mexican!!!
We thought it had ended that night. We decided to go back 2 weeks later thinking it was all just a misunderstanding. We approached the door and next thing you know the Owner steps out and starts to YELL AT ME.. Why again??? I had no idea! Â We left. It was not worth our time to act CRAZY like the manager! I've NEVER been kicked out of ANYWHERE NEVER. Let alone for just sitting down while drinking water and NOT DISTURBING ANYONE. Nothing else to say but such a Garbage place.
One more thing. This place is SO tiny. Which is why there is always fighting going on. Drunk people don't you stepping on their toes..
This visit was wholly unplanned. Â My sis and I just pulled into Bend (LOVE THIS LITTLE TOWN), and wanted to have dinner at Deschutes Brewpub. Â Unfortunately, it was Monday Night Football Night (*yawn!*), so we had a 45min wait. Â
Off we went (with little restaurant pager thingie in hand)....across the street. Â
[Enter SEVEN]
It was a bit dead, but that didn't matter, we just wanted to kill a little time before Deshutes. Â We walked past the little kitchen & dining area, and saddled up to the bar/dance area in the next room. Â We were greeted by a few nice people at the bar, and Leslie (bartender). Â They had a few brews on tap. Â I like to support anything local, so we went with the two Cascade Lakes brews they had. Â They were pretty dang good.
We let Leslie know about our situation, and she was familiar with the scenario---it happens quite a bit, and she was cool with us gracing her presence. Â The ales were good, but Leslie actually did it for us. She was super nice (and easy on the eyes), funny, and kept our drinks full.
We were here on an experimental night: Â they were trying out karaoke for the first time. Â This place will also be celebrating their 2-year anniversary and I guess they'll be having a Phantom of the Opera costume party **should I make a trip down** Â Hmmmmmm.....
I also checked out their website and see that they have a Salsa Night on Wednesdays. Â I think I'm just gonna have to plan another trip down!
