This week Bar burger Quest did a little homework before diving into the complex realm of burgers.Apparently there is this site (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.americatop10.com%2Fmichigan%2Ftop10%2Fbest-burgers&s=69617aafa8e56fe38cf2e938d2e0ea34bad1d95625c9200ea1639899934f3967" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.americatop10.…</a>) that has the top 10 burgers in the state and rated #8 was the Shamrock pub in Utica. This was good news because the weather was garbage and these guys didn't want to drive very far. Utica is far enough! The Shamrock is a nice hole in the wall small place but the look inside and the open feel made it seem like a classier joint than we usually frequent. There were plenty of children inside, no worries I just waved over our pitcher of Killians at them. A guy could get a mug for $2.75 but we opted for a pitcher of the amber holy water. The glassware was glass and the flatware was plastic. This kinda through me a curve ball for a minute but I dealt. The service here is noteworthy, in fact other joints should take notes. The beer was there withing a minute and a half. She took the order and the food was in front of us before we finished the mug of beer. In our world that is like twinkle your nose fast! There was only 1 bar tender and two servers to be that swift! To the beef. There are only two burger at the Rock, and you'll get it either with cheese or without. The burger is 7oz with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.
