Nordstrom Cafe Bistro has earned my 5-star review after yesterday's lunch. I kept commenting to my lunch date how I was so surprised it wasn't more packed - perhaps this is a nice little gem I will keep to myself... and everyone reading this review.
The menu is short and sweet, a few soups, a daily du jour, a nice array of salads, brick oven 'za, sandwich options AND entree options for the extra hungry. Plus, nice items for vegetarians. The nicoise salad with salmon was perfect, and I espesh enjoyed how I was able to get a few items omitted without any issue. The salmon entree also looked very good, but I would choose that for dinner based on the serving size.
Did I mention they have beer and wine available? Let me save you some money: screw the shopping, go to Nordstrom for the food.
I always enjoy Nordstrom Cafe's. This one is especially nice. They're less  Cafe-esque. AND they have french fries with your meals instead of chips, which is a nice touch ;) Our waitress was very nice. My sister told me she started less than a month ago, but you would never know. Also the chocolate paradise cake is beyond delish and I love that it sits on top of toffee flavored sauce (fat thought).
