Rojo Mexican Bistro

Went to Rojo for our first time and had a terrible experience from the first moment we got there...  Greeted by rude hostesses who surely let us know that the fact we requested a booth on a nearly empty day highly annoyed them!  We told our waitress we had never been to Rojo before and we asked her if she could recommend something.  She actually answered with, "I am not a big fan of the food...I don't eat here really".  Well alrighty then!  Next, immediately after we placed our drink and appetizer order, a kitchen walker I am assuming brings out our skillet of queso without any chips to actually eat it with and sets it on our table.  We had no silverware, plates, drinks or our chips and salsa.  As we watched our cheese get cold and clot up, the waitress finally came back with our drinks and of course went to get our chips once she realized half of our appetizer had hit the table.  The dip was disgusting by the time we got anything to actually eat it with.  The service was slow, our waitress would come and ask if we need something and then would go to get it and forget what she was doing and would circle back and then say, "Oh yeah, sorry!"  My husband's Taco Salad was good so long that you do not use the Mustard Vinaigrette dressing they give you with it that closely resembles nail polish remover.  I had the beef fajitas and Chili's is a million times better in taste and portion.  We asked three times for our bill before it finally came...  Not worth the time or money.  Amazed this place is ran by the owners of Andiamo really...

My boyfriend loves Mexican food, so we went here after we saw "Les Miserables" at MJR also located in Partridge Creek Mall.
Great service, great food, with a great atmosphere!

Went in with high expectations....but turned down. We went there on Sunday evening about 7.30pm. Though half of the resturant was empty, we had to wait for 30 mins. The hostess was very rude and unprofessional in behavior. Inspite of us asking for a booth and high chair for kids, she gave us a bar table.  When we asked her to change our seats, she shoved the menu in our hands , walked out rudelyand didnt show up for half hour.
Food was bad...it was cold.
