Brann's Sizzling Steaks & Sports Grille

The Good: The appetizer Dips were great. I really enjoyed the sampler that came with 3 different dips; Buffalo Chicken, Spinach and Artichoke, and Queso. They come with a plate of tortilla chips to dip and snack. I could eat this entire appetizer by myself, but there is enough to share with 1-2 more people depending on how hungry you are. We also ordered some boneless chicken wings and a Sizzling Sampler. The Bang Bang boneless chicken wings were good, nothing fancy, but decent size and tasty. The Sizzling Sampler came with cheese sticks, potato skins, buffalo wings, and onion straws. It was alright, again nothing fancy and nothing you haven't tried anywhere else already.

The Bad: Spicy BBQ boneless chicken wasn't that good, I didn't care to finish my order of wings. The taste was very off and confusing. I wasn't a fan and I would suggest that they try to improve on this flavor.

The Ugly: The Broccoli Cheese soup was one of the worst soups that I ever had. I love Broccoli Cheese soup in general, but I have to say that this was impossible to finish. There were pieces of 'stuff' in my soup that I couldn't chew. Also, the entire soup reminded me of Campbell's, which I use every now and then as a base to different meals (Cheesy Chicken Divine, etc.). I was very disappointed in this and when I put my napkin in the full bowl of soup, the waitress didn't even ask if I liked it or offer me something else, which I thought was poor service.

The Unknown: One of my friends did get the steak and he ate most of it, but I do agree with some other reviews on here and it was the oddest shape of steak ever, a wedge is a perfect way to describe it I guess. I can't really review on the taste or texture, but the shape was unique.

Brann's was my first review when I signed up a year ago.  While I don't review them every time I visit, I am glad to do so today.  I was one of a handful of veterans who were on hand for a complimentary steak, courtesy of Brann's.

I stopped in today and received a free 6-oz. steak (upgraded to 8-oz. for a buck), with two sides, along with a drink.  I had the onions and mushrooms added to the steak, ordered a salad and mac-n-cheese as my sides, with an Arnold Palmer to drink.

The salad had bleu cheese dressing and it was excellent, with large chunks of bleu cheese in it.  the mac-n-cheese was again - excellent.  Complimentary fresh dinner rolls were served with cinnamon-honey butter and again, superb!  The steak was cooked to my liking and followed the rest of the meal - excellent!

Thank you Brann's, and all your employees who were cheerful to me and my fellow veterans today!  It is much appreciated!!

I DO NOT suggest getting the the steak. It shaped like a wedge. Does not cook evenly. I actually got sick from it. If you want a piece of meat then get the prime rib.
