Out in the middle of nowhere, where do you go to catch a drink with friends? Â Shamrock Pub & Grill.
Small neighborhood type bar where everyone there must be a regular because everyone seems to know each other. Â Clean place and the staff was friendly. Â Reasonable drink prices. Â They serve food too I guess but I didn't partake. Â I guess they pack it in for the Fish Fry, they were cleaning up after the night when I was in there.
Pool table, darts, karaoke, Â and obnoxiously loud rock music. Â
Seems like the perfect "dudes' place to hang.
We like the shamrock because it is convienently close to home. Â It isn't eactly the place we jump up and say "LETS GO THERE!" but in a pinch its worthy of a stop.
It has a pretty average menu but my kids always enjoy the food that they order. Â They offer a soup and salad bar which I appreciate, but I only enjoy the salad portion. Â I've tried the soups many times, but have never liked the taste of any of them.
There is pleanty of room around the tables and the staff is friendly and attentive. Â The atmosphere is cozy without having lost the 'family' feel. Â
There is also a bar which should not be over looked. Â We often times stop by to shoot a game or two of pool. Â Although there are only two tables I don't ever remember having to wait very long to play a game.
Even though I only gave this place 3 stars, its worthy of a try. Â I'd be tempted to give it more if only there were something outstanding or more memorable about the experiences I've had there.
