She' Trece Home-Style Dining

The dream of every traveler is an undiscovered gem - a place that releases you from the dreary, acceptable consistency of  franchise hell.  She'Trece Homestyle Dining is a real find for me - the best discovery in years.  Not a fancy, white table cloth five star, but a quality, delivers fine food more than expected five star. I've had three meals - fried chicken, Salisbury steak, and the smothered pork chops.  Brilliantly executed - cooked fresh.  Southern style corn - a bit of cream and lightly spiced - and the green beans (the only slight disappointment - canned, but well spiced, onions and black pepper).  The main entrees were generously portioned - more than enough - and  superbly cooked - just right, moist and deliciously, lightly breaded (except the Salisbury steak).  The gravy on the smothered pork chops was an excellent light brown gravy with onions.  The fried chicken was lightly breaded - crispy, flavorful.  Very reasonably priced - many entrees under $11 - I only checked moderately priced because some of the entrees are in the $12/$13 range.  Friendly, welcoming (despite being on top of the "Down Under" bar);  definitely home style, definitely worth a stop.  They also cater - 18 years experience catering - and have tasty, home-cooked deserts.  I tried the sweet potato pie.  Sweet and spice and creamy.   Ye-ha!!
