I took my wife here for lunch instead of the Bradly Teletheater in Windsor Locks because it was closer for us Friday afternoon 5/27/2013. It was a huge mistake. The one and only reason I give this a two star is because the waitress was very polite. The food was gross. I've never seen slop like this before and I spent a few years eating from an open mess in the military. My wife ordered the chick salad wrap and onion rings and I requested the Belmont Burger cooked medium with onion rings. The wrap had hard chicken in it with very little "salad" ingredients. The onion rings were burnt and greasy. My burger was over cooked and smelled like a cigarette and also the onion rings were a disaster. I took a few bites of the burger and said forget this. YUCK!! My wife was disgusted with the entire meal. Never again.
Review Source:I have to assume most of their business is done on Friday and Saturday nights when you can drink outside in the summer. Went there last night for a few drinks (sat inside) and a pitcher of premium draft was $18.50 per pitcher! Honestly, I was shocked at that pricing. I was expecting to pay around $15.00. We were also overcharged $2.00 for onion rings (which they fixed). Either way, 2 pitchers of beer and a basket of onion rings cost almost $60.00 with tip. I felt like they were being sneaky and trying to overcharge us without noticing. Prices are outrageous. Women's rooms are disgusting. Service is slow. Not worth the time, money or effort.
Review Source:I don't like this place. Not remotely. Whenever I'm with anyone who mentions going here, I cringe and offer any other suggestion within a 20-mile radius. I gave it more than its fair share of chances over the course of a few years and every single time, the food is mediocre, the waitstaff and bartenders are rude and unattentive, the ambience is lacking, and the beer choices are limited. I have to say that they have a great patio to lounge around on a warm afternoon, but that's not enough to save this place.
