I stopped here after work for apps and drinks with a couple of coworkers.  Sherbrooke was a clean, comfortable setting for us to sit and chat while enjoying beer, chicken wings, and poutine.  I've never had poutine before, but this was a great first impression.  Overall, prices were comparable to a lot of places in the area.

They offer brunch on the weekend, so I thought to try it out.  I had "The Stub" which is essentially the ultimate breakfast sandwich with multiple types of meat, cheese, and tater tots.  It is easily among my favorite breakfast meals that I've had anywhere.  I will definitely get it again.

Conclusions: The place would do better if it had a marketing campaign.  I wouldn't have known it existed if I hadn't driven by it.  I couldn't find a website or an online menu, so I had little idea of what I was getting into.  The food and drinks were great though and the brunch on Sat/Sun was one of the best around.  Overall, an enjoyable two experiences.

I am here to give Sherbrooke some love! Major upgrade from Shepherd's. Classy meets present-day Northwoods is the vibe.

We came here a few nights ago for some drinks and an order of late-night poutine, and we were not disappointed. Poutine = a French-Canadian specialty of fries, covered in gravy with cheese-curds on top that melt into a sea of heart-unhealthy deliciousness. This was a really great version of poutine, with a particularly flavorfully-seasoned gravy. Suggestion= get the fries, not the tator tots. Its how the Canadians roll.

Our grand total for a white russian, a pint on tap, and a small order of poutine rang in at $14 for two people. Worth it.

We stole a look at the menu and are looking forward to going back soon for dinner! The food is not inexpensive, but it features a variety of creative offerings including vegetarian choices, several options with duck and many other more typical meats. It was sort of Wisconsin-French-Canadian fusion, which is pretty much ideal in my world.

Stopped by here during the Tosa Grand Prix. When we came in, there were about 5 other people at the bar and no one in the dining room. The decor is like Sheperds was- wood everywhere, very tavern like, and typical Milwaukee pub (not saying this is bad at all, I love a good tavern). It was a Sunday, so I ordered their $5 sangria special and my husband ordered a Jack on the the rocks. We put $20 on the bar and went about our business of watching the Brewers game. When it came time for a refill, the bartender asked if we wanted to start a tab. Surprised that the $20 didn't cover 3 drinks we realized that the first round was $17 and he said that the next Jack was $10. Way overpriced for a Tosa tavern plus the pricing wasn't consistent from one drink to the next. Down the street at Juniper 61 you can get a Jack for about $7 (this was our next stop and we asked the bartender). Nothing special about this place unless the food is outstanding, which we didn't try. The bartender was friendly, but was more interested in the 2 ladies sitting next to us. After they left, he came our way to chat. Would not pay what their prices with so many outstanding restaurants in Tosa to choose from at a better value.
