Sidney's Sports Bar

Nice lil comedy club slash karaoke bar slash pool bar.  

Had some very fun times here in the past. Like one of them rare occasions when all of your friends randomly showed up at the same time, including my FIL and old old friends.  Got up on stage and did some karaoke. Was awesome!

Well that hasn't happened anymore, hard to recreate such a great night, like the movie Friday.  The second movie Next Friday was garbage.  This place isn't garbage but just not as fun without a few buddies to talk to or secretly giggle when a really bad singer picks "everybody wants to Wang Chung tonight".  

They have cool bartenders, and a decent drink selection for a westbank bar. Even a few on tap and the prices are reasonable.  

Sometimes there is comedy shows, I think on Weds or Thursday nights....not sure when, but that is always fun!   We could all use a good laugh and there is nothing like locally flavored humor.  Who doesn't like a good joke about A&G cafeteria or the green toilet on Gretna Blvd?
