My old review sounds very "Travel Channel-ish". Â Been going to the Dollar since the day I turned 21 and as the years pass I like it even more. Â Stopped going for awhile because the smoke was just a bit much but now that it's smoke free I've been back more and more. Â Cheap beer, cheap pool, a juke box, Buck Hunter Safari, small crowd, fast service. Â Like the other reviewer said, if ya wanna drink, the Dollar is hard to beat!
Review Source:This is the type of bar you will find through out the rest of Montana. Not what you'd expect to find in a more liberal town like Missoula.
It's affectionately nicknamed the Dirty Dollar by the regulars and it's not just a clever nickname. If it weren't for the ban on indoor smoking, you would expect to see the bar stools filled with the salt of the earth working man with a beer in front of him next to his pack of Marlborough Reds. If you aren't sure of the type I mean, take a look at the Wall of Fame pictures above the bar.
If you want a posh atmosphere, easy going music and a quiet crowd, the Depot is just a couple of blocks away. If you want to get drunk, get loud, and have a great time. Check this place out.
