Lovely spot.  Nice waitresses, good beer, clean, friendly, everything you could wish for in a craft brewer!

UPDATE ON 4-19-12:  Went here again this afternoon.  Arrived about 5:15 or so and the place was packed.  Ordered beer and wanted the Cowboy Caviar.  We were told that they were out.  What?  You open at 2:00 and by 5:15 you're out?  Especially on a Fri.?  Weird.

But........waitress came back and told us there was ONE, and only one, order left of Cowboy Caviar.  Yea!  However, when we got it was rather disappointed to find that the "caviar" was in a parfait glass (smallish) and there was a small smattering of tortilla chips around the bottom of it on a very small plate.  Well...........whatever..........but then about 20 minutes later - we saw 2 more orders leave the kitchen?  Huh, did someone run out for something and they made another batch?  Again, whatever..........

Had never eaten here, and will not ever eat here again, because we ordered two Reuben sandwiches one with cole slaw and one with potato salad.  I had the turkey pannini.  Was truly shocked when these sandwiches came out because there was absolutely NOTHING to them, i.e., maybe - at best - a couple of pieces of meat, cheese, and - that was it.  You could add your own 2 smallish tomato pieces and my son wouldn't eat the cole slaw because he said it was not good (which it wasn't).  The potato salad was also left there.  Menu said bread was from Karl's Bakery which used to be really good in Everett but, honestly, this bread was like something from the grocery store (maybe bought with the more cowboy caviar makings?  because it took an incredibly longggggggggg time to get these tea party sized sandwiches).  We never did get the cheese bread we ordered.......sigh..........but probably just as well given the rest of the food we received.

Sad, really, because I would rather be able to take my own food in (like a pizza) and drink their bear - which is good.  But you can't, now, because they "offer food."  Well, not really...........that needs major, major, major improvements.

Of course, on a Fri. evening, it was very loud - dog barking (which I didn't even know you could DO unless it was a service dog - which it wasn't), no ventilation so when the guy at the next table went out for several smokes - it literally stunk when he came back in.

In the future, we will make sure to only go here when the door to the outside is open and people sit outside.

Good beer but that's about it.  Not even the service was good today.

AND PLEASE NOTE - CASH ONLY!  No credit cards, no checks, blah, blah...........CASH ONLY (and they have an ATM which they get revenue off of if you're short).

Skookum Brewery opened at the old Bayliner Building by Arlington Airport a few months ago. I have been a fan since they first opened in '07 at their Home Brewery. My husband and I buy a keg every month for our garage turned "Raunchy Bar". Only problem is, our dog Grizzly doesn't understand the reason for the new location as he enjoyed the walks on their home brewery property. (Sad Woof) Perhaps they can recreate that for the pups later! The new hours and being open Wednesday~Sunday are much better for their growing business and I'm sure their neighbors appreciate their relocating! :) Can't wait to try out their floor shuffleboard game!!

Great beer. Awesome staff. Closed for the season :(

Very reasonable prices for craft beer.

They have a new location near the Arlington Airport

This place rocks!  Great venue although we learned they will be relocating to a place in Marysville.  That will take away from the ambiance of sitting outside of someones barn!  What a hidden gem.  Staff is friendly and quick with the poor of a beer!

Great hidden spot.  Weird hours, and harder to find, though our GPS directions were right on.
Also you can bring kids and dogs! They have a beer garden style place with some covered seating, that you can bring kids too. On a Friday night this place is full! We arrived right at like 7, and got 2 growlers and a bottle to go. My husband loved their Brown and Hairy, and their Woody's Oak, which we got in growlers.  He wasn't a fan of their Solitary Confinement Stout.
We are excited to bring a picnic one Saturday afternoon.  They don't serve food, but you can bring your own.
Cool place, perfect for a summer afternoon, with the baby and the dog. Real great way to pass the time!

This dog-friendly outdoor tasting room is very cool! Shaded by the trees in the summer sun and a nice canvas tent with heat in the winter. Well behaved leashed dogs are welcome. No food is served, but they encourage you to bring your own. Bring your own glass for a discount on your pint. Dog Days event is fun and should not be missed. They are planning to move locations across from the Arlington Airport soon, which should make them easier to find and share with friends.

Possibly my new favorite brewery... but all my Seattle guys are amazing as well.  There's just something here you can't get in Seattle.  Little quiet country feel.  I'm excited to come back!  Sounds like a great summer spot!

Love this place. Always nice people and good beer. Not a Pub so bring your own eats as they only have pretzels. Be sure to bring an empty growler or two so you can take home some of this goodness!!

We visited Skookum for the first time today for "Dog Days". Dogs are always welcome at the brewery, but during dog days they plan special games and competitions for the four legged guests. The beer was great and the dogs had a great time too! We'll definitely be back soon.

Great place to sit outside and have a good, local beer.  No food served, but you can bring your own and eat outside. Bring your own glass to avoid drinking from plastic.

Worth a drive!  Friends and I make the annual summer pilgrimage from Seattle to Skookum, an amazing nano brewery in Arlington, WA.  Awesome beers on tap, bring your Skookum glass pint and save a quarter a beer.  A great outdoor feel on their small acerage in a residential rural area.  Owners are great folks to shoot the breeze with!  A gem tucked just off I-5 exit 206.

Is this heaven on Earth?  Possibly.  Every beer I've had here is delicious, and always fresh.  My personal favorite is Amber's Hot Friend, with Old Mule as a close second.  The people who run this place are delightful, and I've felt welcome both times I've been here.  If you own a growler, bring it: filling it up costs just $10!

Consistently the best beer you will ever drink. I loves me some Jack Ass!!!
Nice place to drink a couple and hang out with friends.
The owners and friends of this place are cool too.
I wonder what would happen if they opened up in a commercial zone and served good food with the amazing beer?
Somehow set it up like it is at the house. Tents, fire pits and all.
And your well behaved dog is welcome too!!!

great beer, great clientele, great atmosphere, homey, rustic. They don't have food but you can bring your own. Bring your dog too. Ron is often experimenting with his craft so you're bound to find a flavor you like unless you like mass produced domestics. Don't speed on their road! 10mph.

This is a fun place to stop after work on Friday or Saturday afternoon. The Beer is awesome. You really need to try them all.

Winter is especially good. They have 2 enclosed tents with heaters and will usually have a fire going outside. Great place to kick back a relax.

They are only open on Fridays 3-7pm and Saturdays 2-5pm, with an occasional Sunday for special events like Dog Days. You can call to get a growler filled most anytime.

If it's your first time, make sure you get good directions. The county made them take their sign down, so the turn up the driveway is easily missed as it is unmarked.

Bring cash, they don't take credit cards.

A cool little place to stop at on a nice sunny day and enjoy a couple beers.  It is definitely hard to find and you'll probably feel like you are just going up someone's driveway, but it's there hidden behind some trees. My only complaint is that they don't have food, but they do give you an infinite supply of pretzels and allow you to bring your own food in.

Hidden gem of a brewery with outdoor-only seating.  Beers are all solid and they will do growler service (no bottles and you cannot find their beer outside the brewery).  Absolutely worth a stop.
