Tulalip Resort & Casino

Stayed here on a whim, as I usuall stay at the Heathman in downtown Kirkland while visiting Washington. We were greeted by a wonderful employee, Danny, who waited for us while we checked in, and then made sure to show us the highlights of the hotel while taking us to our room. He explained each restaurant, showed us where other areas were and was very nice. The rooms are unbelievable, we travel monthly and this is by far the most luxurious of rooms we have stayed in. And no, we do not travel cheap or in anything even close to run down! Everything is extremely modern and they have literally thought of everything you may need in your room.  The food is amazing. Each meal turned into our "best food ever" moment. The staff in all areas were friendly and attentive, everything was clean and very well kept. We were concerned about smoke as we are both extremely sensitive to it, but once you left the casino area it is completely gone! I wish we could give this more than 5 stars... We have decided if we ever decide to sell our house, we will just come live in this hotel! :)

Plenty of handicapped parking!

First of all, this isn't the Bellagio.  In fact, this isn't Las Vegas.  It's a suburb of Seattle, so you have to keep your expectations in check.

However, you can compare it to a Planet Hollywood in terms of style and quality.  Beautifully decorated, nice big casino, lots of places to eat around the clock, and very clean.

This is my go-to place to party because parking is always free and easy to find, even on crazy busy days like Halloween or New Year's or a Super Bowl, the food in the restaurants is superb with lots of variety, decent prices, and great service, and it's a lot safer than Belltown or Capitol Hill or many of the other party places in Seattle.  It's the little things they do to make it even better, like giving a hot towel after eating dinner-why doesn't every restaurant do this?

Furthermore there's almost always a free concert, band, or comedy show to watch, and even if there is a cover it's usually around $10 bucks.  They also have free coffee and sodas, lots of good local beers on draft, a great wine selection, and the cocktails are very strong!  

There is the cigarette smoke, but hell, it's a casino!!  What do you expect?  Even then, they keep the air pretty well circulated so it's not overwhelming.

The pool is amazing, and their spa is pricey, but well worth it.  

I often come to this place to watch a free show, never have to worry about having to pay for and pray for parking, free coffee, great beer, delicious food, and a few rounds at the blackjack table, and I walk out without having to worry about getting mugged or my car getting broken into.  Can't go wrong with Tulalip.  

They're currently adding more stuff too so I can't wait to see what they have in store!
